terrible bar, owner is super self conceited and arrogant. only cares about making money and not the customer experience. terrible to his employees. behind the scenes he is not what he makes it out to be. don’t give this guy any money.

Sarah is an absolute ALL STAR! The speediest service, friendliest bartender and best balanced drinks I’ve ever had!

My only complaint is that she’s only there a couple nights a week!

I’ve been going to Murphy’s since they first opened—it used to be the place to go. The food was great, the service was sharp, and the place was always packed with energy.

Unfortunately, things have really gone downhill since 2020. I went back last night for the first time in a while, and it was honestly a huge letdown. Most of the draft beers were unavailable, there were hardly any canned options, and a large portion of the food menu was missing. For example, they had 6 taps with 603 Seltzer. None of them were available.

What little food they did have took over an hour to arrive—and the place wasn’t even that busy. The service was slow and disorganized, which only added to the frustration.

I’m not sure what’s going on with Murphy’s these days, but it’s sad to see such a great spot decline like this. At this point, I don’t see myself going back anytime soon.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Murphy’s Taproom recently, and I have to give a special shout-out to Eliot for making our experience truly unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and immediately made us feel at home. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, offering spot-on recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes.

Eliot’s attention to detail was second to none — she checked in at just the right moments, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. Whether it was refilling our drinks or checking in on our meal, her service was seamless and made us feel like VIPs.

Beyond the excellent service, her positive energy and genuine friendliness were contagious. She took the time to chat with us about the beer selection, and you could tell she was passionate about what she does. It's rare to find such exceptional service these days, and Eliot truly set the bar.

If you're at Murphy's Taproom, definitely ask for Eliot — her service will elevate your entire experience!

Food was good and beer is good. But the service on 6/20 was abysmal.
30 min before a concert let's out, the bar is mostly dead, blonde bartender is counting checks and doing anything except noticing she has customers. So we wait. We try to get someone else's attention. Guy bartender serves us drinks, she doesn't even realize 'oops I should have gotten you.,' and the dance continues.
We have to ask again for menus. We wait 15 minutes to order. Now, the show has let out and the rush begins anew.
Blonde bartender who can't handle two customers is now taking multiple orders from a group of 3 (food and drink) and getting beers for a couple who just got to the bar. With empty glasses in front of us, she fills all their orders before ours (we were pulling from the tap closest to us, so no excuse on how far to walk). Had to outright ask for refills before she wandered off again. Then she can't pour my friend's beer to save a life - 80% head, finally got it down to 30% and even then my friend commented that he paid for beer. Idk how she can't pour *this* beer when she could squeeze all the others in before getting to us. Maybe the keg *just* started to run bad?
By the time we are asking for our check, we may as well have another beer for the wait. Guy bartender fills that order too, who doesn't seem to notice that hes picking up the slack for the blonde.
She finally gets us our check and walks away quickly. She left no pen. So we do the dance again.
She comes back, eyes the receipt and noticing we haven't signed it, just asks if we want another beer (bill is closed out already). I say clearly We Need a Pen.
She tosses us a pen from 5 feet away and walks away, destination unknown but clearly not to a training session on how to be a bartender/waitress.
Food and beer - great. Service like this was so bad I wouldn't return, and I loved Manchester all around.
