Nadeau's Subs Salads Wraps

I went in to order a sub on Sunday afternoon. After I ordered I went to the back to use the restroom. When I did I noticed a young girl in the kitchen and saw smoke coming from her nose, I assume she had been smoking. I thought that was weird because she's in the kitchen. When I returned from the restroom I noticed that same girl was making my sub. I waited until she handed me my sub, I asked her name and she said Tammy. I said "Tammy have you been smoking". After a pause she said no with a guilty look on her face. There were three ladies behind the counter when I asked if the manager was available. They proceeded to tell me that there was a different manager on days and evenings. I said who is the manager today and they wouldn't tell me or they didn't know ? I won't be returning to the Cahill Avenue location.

Probably my favorite Philly cheese steak in the north east! Beefy, cheesy and greasy just how I like it with soft bread I add cooked onions and light mayo with a side of cheddar cheese sauce for the full Philly energy.

We ordered lunch today from Nadeau's and it was terrible. The one on Hanover street that closed we used to order all the time and they were great. Many years ago, in the 90's Nadeau's had one location and they had the best steak subs in Manchester. They were so good back then! Fast forward to today, I ordered s cubed steak with just cooked mushrooms, peppers, and onions, dry, no veg or mayo, they did not even get that right.
No big deal, I let that go, it happens, especially at lunch when it is busy but the steak was just awful, boiled, chewy meat, soggy thanks to the veg. I have never had a sub this bad from anyplace. I will not return as they have obviously let things go. I had not been in a long time as it is out of the way for us. I did not eat it, I am not looking for a refund or a response. It is sad to see a once incredible place known for their great steak subs produce this.

We came from out of town and stopped on our way home. Staff was friendly, restaurant was clean and had amazing historical pictures, the food was great, fast service and prices reasonable.

Not a bad sandwich shop at all! The atmosphere inside is a bit dated, but that hardly matters when the food is this good. Military and vet friendly with a generous discount, thank you for the food and support for the troops!

Nadeau had always my favorite steak tip and cheese won’t eat it anywhere else but the ones me and husband got today where probably the worst subs I’ve ever had couldn’t eat most of the steak was tough gristle and was unable and I was so heart broken hope it was just a bad day

Steak tips are not as good as they once were. But over all food is very good.

We ordered on 3/27/2025- almost $60. for the below. We ordered chicken tenders and paid extra or additional chicken tenders. I am showing you the size them against a packet of ketchup. They should be ashamed of the portion of chicken. They are more like chicken bites and should be priced for same. NEVER after many years of going there, NEVER EVER going back

Just what I needed

Subs on point everytime!

Prices have always been high but now charging more for a credit card is ridiculous. It’s not like it’s a new fee, been around forever and just another way to squeeze. Steak and cheese subs are great (5 stars for that)

Food was good and staff was nice. A large variety of subs offered. You could get a wrap or sub. This is different from a subway as it offers a different variety. To me it's more if you want a hardy warm sub.
The seating was minimal. Not bad just it's more of a take and go kinda place.
It was clean
