Loved the vegan pizza option my sister and I shared here. It had been a while since I visited the Portland Pie Company because I didn't think they would have anything for me. However I was pleasantly surprised. The cheese was different from vegan cheeses you see used in many other pizza places (typically Daiya is used in many places) and the toppings were great! Slow to seat us even with a mostly empty dining area, but after that our server was attentive and very good. Pizzas are good, but I ordered an alfredo pizza and got a cheeze pizza with red sauce and just a couple pieces of chicken on it. The dough is good, chewy and crispy around the edges as I'd expect from a pan pizza. Good beer selection.
First and foremost the service from the bartender was wonderful. I didn't try the pizza but it was a quick serve and looked good. I got it for a homeless guy asking for food. Brought him in and got him a slice of pizza and a soda, Pepsi.
