Heard a lot of good things so figured it was time to check it out. Good location, minor wait which was fair considering it was dinner. Menu has a lot of interesting farm to table meal ideas that unfortunately lack execution and are largely forgetable. Our app and two entrees while generous in portion were largely bland and overwhelming. Service was excellent so we may try again, but we'll be sure to order something different.

First time in Republic and YOU have to experience it ! My favorite thing was Vermont Feta Bites It was very unique and tasty and the tzatziki sauce on top was amazing idea. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Staff are extremely very detailly knowledge about the food it is like they are cooking it and they know how to make the food especially the servers. We had a young gentleman with long hair he was great I wish I can remember his name. He knew the food a to z soup to nuts. They have a unique menu it is not like other regular restaurants. I will definitely check it out again.

We went here because of their allergy awareness rating. Upon telling the server my son had a tree nut and peanut allergy, she quickly said they “didn’t have any on the premises” yet the menu clearly offers peanut butter cups as a topping for the ice cream. I still felt confident that the food was safe, given peanut butter cups clearly won’t be near Mac and cheese, but it was a bit odd for someone advertising being allergy aware. The food was good but not great - a bit underwhelming for the price point.

Not sure if we just got it on a bad night, but this food was mediocre to bad. The combo salad of hummus and falafel was decent, although the hummus was a bit like play-doh in texture. The falafel were good - light and fluffy and good flavor. For entrees, we got the Turkish chicken and a special pork chop. Both proteins were overcooked so badly, worse than most airplane proteins I've had. We didn't bother sendIng them back because we had to get back to our dog but normally I would have sent both meals back. Also, the Turkish chicken had virtually no flavor. I have had much better chicken dishes at fast middle eastern food restaurants. As for cocktails, we were served a flat, warm glass of Prosecco and had to send it back. As a former bartender myself, I know that sometimes you get down to the bottom of a sparkling wine bottle and if it's been open a long time, you see there are no bubbles and also feel that it's a bit too warm and you would never serve that to a customer. However, they did and it forced us to ask for a new one. They replaced it, but what kind of quality control is in place? Perhaps the Italian menu is better. Perhaps we just got there on a night when the main chef wasn't working. Either way, we won't be back.

We stopped in here on a cold rainy day. The mango green tea was a nice warm up to salad and appetizers. Vegetarian kibble was nicely flavored, although not a very big portion. The mixed green salad was nice too. Overall the restaurant was a bit pricier than expected — likely due to the cost of a mixed drink.

delicious food and incredible service! Republic and Campo Enoteca are sister restaurants... we got items off of both menus and we loved everything we ordered!!

Made a reservation for Saturday evening, we are traveling and we're very excited to try this place! We confirmed our reservation that afternoon when I called and asked to adjust the time slightly which they did no problem. We arrive that evening to a sign on the door saying they were closed due to kitchen staff being sick, totally understand them closing if understaffed - but not calling the people who made reservations is very frustrating. If we would have known we would have made a plan to eat somewhere else that evening. Food still looks amazing and sad we won't be able to try.

Service was incredibly slow. We decided to eat outside, and the atmosphere was terrible. There was a homeless guy using sticks to bang on trash cans like they were drums. Motorcyclists constantly circled by with incredibly loud music and went round and round in the loop. The food itself was mediocre But quite expensive and it took a really long time to come. The one positive was that portions were quite large.

Excellent food and exquisite service. I strongly recommend to visit and taste farm-to-table Mediterranean cuisine. Also good/different cocktails

Used to be amazing when it was open kitchen before the pandemic. Now it's just overpriced and half the food doesn't feel worth the money. Plus the ambience is not what it used to be.

Recommended! Great food and atmosphere. Excellent service. Republic merged with Campo Enoteca during the pandemic. So both menus are available. We enjoyed items from the daily specials.

Excellent creative delicious food. Everything is locally grown. Fabulous appetizers (try the feta bites), covered in sesame seeds, fried and served with yogurt. The falafel, hummus, the toast Turkish chicken, the vegan crispy kale pizza is to die for and I don't even like kale. Great wine and beer menu. Everything is steaming hot from the kitchen and very fresh. The yummy bread is served with zaatar and sesame olive oil. Can't say enough about Republic.

UNREAL. I came to Republic with three other work colleagues while we were in Manchester for a business meeting. Usually I give a place a few tries before giving a review, but our experience at Republic was so amazing that I've already told my husband we need to go to Manchester for no reason other than to eat here. There are actually two menus here - you can order from Republic or their sister restaurant Campo Enoteca, so it's an awesome two for one of excellence. We were immediately seated (it was a Wednesday night and we came early, around 6) and greeted by our server Eric, who was the gem of the evening. We started with drinks - varying from wine to the "Love Child" (advertised as the result of a martini and margarita falling in love), to another one that featured a house made chili syrup. All came out quickly and were DELICIOUS - paired with laughs when Eric asked my colleague what she was going to name her love child. We then placed an order of apps - the hand-cut fries (capers, Aleppo, and herbs), Vermont feta bites (I've never had anything like this before - fried feta with sesame seeds, this amazing yogurt sauce, and Aleppo), and Arancini balls. Everything was INCREDIBLE - well portioned, fresh, and delicious. I don't know if I ever experienced Aleppo before, but it's this amazing pepper that brings such great flavor to the dishes. For four people this was the perfect amount of food to order to kick the meal off. Then came entrees, which is maybe my favorite part of our dining experience at Republic. We were all tied between two dishes and asked Eric what his preference between the two was - his response was "Do you want me to pick for you and surprise you?" Now those who know me know that I am Type A to the max - like an examiner of the menu prior to going out to eat type of person. But, it was very liberating to agree to letting Eric surprise me - and the rest of the table followed suit so none of us knew exactly what was headed our way. I highly recommend this approach, it was a fun way to have someone else make that choice for you - and when the food came out, each of us said "Oh that's exactly what we wanted." We each had huge portions of various pasta dishes - all the pasta is made fresh daily and you could absolutely tell. My colleagues ended up with the Carbonara, fried-eggplant pasta, one of the specials of the evening, and I got the butternut squash ravioli. I cannot even speak to how delicious everything was - it was a complete dream of a dining experience. Another cool thing about Republic is that it's all farm to table, with the menu listing exactly which farm produced each product. It's such a cool feature and I love that they bring their guests along the journey of where they source from. This was such a wonderful experience - like I said, I really am going to come back up to Manchester just so I can eat here again. Thank you to Eric and Republic for a wonderful food memory!
