There’s not much to say about Shoppers that you wouldn’t say about your favorite neighborhood spot that has just food you want, drinks you need and service you deserve when you go out. There’s nothing fancy about Shoppers and that’s a GREAT thing cause you get an honest experience that doesn’t leave you guessing. Nick and the team over there always make me feel right at home, so if you’re in the area, grab a seat and you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about.

the place to be in town for major boston sporting events. the staff are quick and attentive, even with rowdier crowds
the food leaves much to be desired honestly. with most of what I've had looking like it came straight from the freezer

Great spot for what it is. We debated some other local pubs...Locally owned , had a great chat with the owner. Pizza was solid. Casual and small but lots of character. Ask about the Fenway pre Green Monster blue print on the wall.

This would have been both me and my husbands first time being in New Hampshire, we found a restaurant just less than 200 feet away from our hotel at residence Inn. Entering the the pub, the atmosphere was very welcoming. We had what we thought was another bartender and come to find out he was The owner. The owner paid attention to each time a drink got low or how we simply were doing. The pub had many televisions in each corner so you never had to worry about always talking to people. The pub was open to all genres of music which; we absolutely loved! We unfortunately were not able to try their food but I’ll tell ya how it looked seemed delicious. I highly recommend this place as you will have a great time with good vibes. Nick(owner) and his crew are TOP NOTCH!

The is by far the worst meal I’ve had at a bar or restaurant in memory. I ordered a smash burger, (definition: Smashburgers start life as 3- to 4-ounce balls of ground meat, then get smashed flat onto a hot griddle. The resulting patty is thin and often imperfectly shaped, with edges all brown and crispy), I paid a little extra and ordered onion rings with it. What came out was a pre-formed, low quality, previously frozen burger that was way overcooked to the point of being black on one side and drier than a popcorn fart. I know a frozen pre-formed burger when I see one as I worked in food service for many years. This was in no way, shape, or form a smash burger. I could have overlooked this if it had actually tasted good or been cooked properly. The onion rings were cold and not cooked even halfway. It was exactly like if you dropped them in the fryer for about 40 seconds and pulled them up. They were cold, not browned, crunchy uncooked onions, and greasy. Also at the table was their version of a Cuban sandwich, dried out and overcooked, with fries that were hot and cooked but completely unsalted. Also, another overcooked cheeseburger (not advertised as a smash burger) and onion rings, this plate contained the same onion rings as described above and an unremarkable burger from the same frozen patties. The waitress was efficient and friendly and took one of our beers off the bill because of the onion rings. The food took a long time to come out, even though the place was about 1/4 full when we arrived. The only other food I saw come out here was pizza, which would have to be better than what we had, but I won’t be back to find out. Again, the waitress was at no fault here, the only reason for 3 stars under service is because I view how long you wait for food to be part of service. The cocktail my husband had was good.

Was bummed it wasn't trivia nite but understood due to the both New England teams being in playoffs. Some rando guy (trying to be funny) ruined our evening by coming over to our table by insulting me in front of friends and girlfriend. None of us knew who this guy was so.....Yea.
I will definitely try again but call ahead to make sure trivia is happening.

My wife and I visited Shoppers Saturday night, April 20, 2024. We were attending a performance at the Palace Theater and thought we would catch a quick bite to eat before the show. My wife ordered the smash burger but got a frozen hamburger patty not even a quarter inch thick. I ordered the Rueben with the coleslaw on the side. The sandwich came with only two thin pieces of corn beef. We thought about sending all the food back but didn't because we didn't have time to find another restaurant before the show. We also ordered a large Buffalo chicken pizza for after the show (should have checked the pizza before leaving the bar). After the show we opened the pizza box to find no chicken at all on the pizza!!!!I would definitely not recommend this place at all!!!
