Great place! I had the grilled octopus, it was tender and tasted so good. The braised rabbit lasagna was served over a delightful butternut squash puree and dunk’s mushrooms. So good!
I sat at the bar and Travis(bartender) was great!

This is a tapas style restaurant. The food is well prepared, unfortunately its heavy on Indian flavors which I dislike. If you like Indian food you'll enjoy Birch, I don't so I didn't like anything except the pot au creame desert

The food in this tapas place is very creative. You will particularly enjoy it if you like Indian flavors. I do and I loved it, but my husband does not so he did not enjoy it but at least he was happy that I enjoyed the flavors I typically don't get to have when I dine out with him. Not everything has Indian spices, my favorite tapas was bao bun with tongue, which combines sour kraut and tongue, a dish you might get at a Jewish deli. The service was very attentive and helpful.

Best cocktails I ever had, bartender was very cool, atmosphere is great. Not cheap but that’s to be expected. It does justify the pricing

I had the pleasure of dining at The Birch on Elm this past Saturday evening, and the experience was exceptional. Our reservation was promptly acknowledged, and we were quickly seated. While the tables are a bit close together, making it easy to overhear other conversations, this was a minor issue in an otherwise fantastic night. The waiter was friendly, attentive, and his recommendations elevated our dining experience.

We enjoyed the Tso's Cauliflower, Burrata, Pork Belly, and Chicken Fettuccini. Each dish was beautifully plated, original, and delicious, with high-quality ingredients and preparation. The speed of service was impressive, and the tapas-style dishes allowed for a smooth and clutter-free meal.

Considering we were celebrating an anniversary, the pricing felt very reasonable. Overall, The Birch on Elm is a great spot that we will definitely revisit and recommend to friends and family!

Our go-to restaurant every time we want to go out. The service is top-notch, the food is exquisite, they have true bartenders and mixologists, and we have never ordered a bad thing off the menu (and we’ve tried pretty much everything!) The chef makes every dish essentially in real time (after hours of prep work), so if you’re looking for a place where food has been sitting under a heating lamp for half an hour so that it hits your table the second you order it and lacks all flavor, this place is not for you. An amazing dining experience and evening, every time. 10 out of 10 cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Get it into your monthly rotation.

Wow! We loved the food and the bar menus! Lamb tart was fabulous, and the variety of flavors, quality of ingredients, and delicious sauces & aiolis will bring us back. A terrific place in the heart of Manchester.

Good dining option if you are in the mood for food that pushes boundaries in subtle ways. The cocktails are also fantastic and inventive.

Why didn’t I know about Birch on Elm?

My son gave me tickets to a special Moet and Chandon Champagne Dinner at Birch on Elm last week and I was blown away. The quality of the food and the presentation was equally to any fine dining I have experienced, in 5 star restaurants, around the world.

I was not surprised to learn that Chef Nick had prepared for over 12 hours for one of the most outstanding meals I have ever had. The restaurant was completely packed for this special private event. I believe they try and do one of these special pairing events once a month.

I wish I had known about this hidden gem of a restaurant sooner. I look forward to returning again and again.
