THE FOOD & SERVICE WAS VERY GOOD. RESTURANT ITSELF & KITCHEN IS BEING RENOVATED. THE EXPERIECE WAS STILL GOOD. THEY USED AN AREA WITH TABLES IN LOBBY.

The staff was very nice, but despite the fact that we made a reservation days in advance, we only found out the kitchen was under renovation when we sat down. This meant an extremely limited menu of mostly sandwiches. Very disappointing.

We went for dinner before a show, it was the only place without a wait. The waitress was nice and the cheeseburger was the best I've had around NH!!

Here for a conference and stopped by the lobby bar for a few drinks--our server Erica was so lovely, warm, and kind! Honestly stayed for a few more drinks because of her!

Great experience. My son is allergic to eggs and they took it very seriously. I really appreciated that. Food was great!

Not able to accommodate gluten free requests or make substitutions without an upcharge. This is literally a bar off to the side of a hotel lobby. I did not make the DoubleTree association until I put it into my GPS. Also, apparently, there was a shortage of tomatoes -- the two mushy/mealy slices on my CAPRESE salad, were clearly the other slice to the mushy/mealy slice on my hamburger. And the Dragon Fruit sorbet was....absolutely flavorless. Completely devoid...like a red slushy, with tiny seeds. The whole experience at least made us laugh.

A very good place to start your day. Sound level was comfortable, staff was attentive, breakfast food was very good, especially comparing it to other hotels' buffet breakfasts in the area

We've eaten here twice and both times the food was delicious. This place definitely flies under the radar. We had the cauliflower appetizer (my wife is vegetarian) and it was excellent. Completely not what I expected. It was like a wedge salad meets spicy cauliflower. But still finger food! Very inventive and the presentation was perfect. I had the pork shank. It's giant. German style roasted and just falls off the bone. Highly recommend. It was in a bean compote. I'm not a big bean fan so I thought that was ok. Make it German spatzle or potato salad and that knocks it out of the park for me. Many times a restaurant in a hotel, as this one is, can be just OK. These guys have it dialed in.

Staff was friendly and tentative.

The food.... Paid $20 for the breakfast Buffett. Hash browns were oil soaked and barely cooked. The eggs had way too much milk and in dire need of salt and pepper. Bacon was half cooked and the sausage links for something you find at your kid's school cafeteria. The quality of the breakfast was something you would expect as complimentary at your local Holiday inn

The food has changed since we were last here 2 years ago. We ordered breakfast to our room and everything was mediocre at best. I didn’t even eat my meal because it was so unappetizing. The “home fries” were like boiled slices of potato tossed in a tiny bit of salt and pepper slopped onto the serving container. The omelets were just okay. My son barely ate his chocolate chip pancake, it didn’t have much flavor. We were disappointed this time around, unfortunately.

Went to an event at the SNHU Arena, decided to check out The Current Kitchen & Bar. Staff was very pleasant and prompt with service. The food turned out to be very good, pleasantly surprised for a hotel restaurant. Steak sandwich was excellent, good portion of steak, cooked perfect, Caesar salad also very good, lightly charred romaine- nice touch, chicken and dressing great, chicken fingers got the thumbs up from a 10 year old who is a ”connoisseur” of chicken fingers!!! Great experience all around,!will definitely go back.

it was an extreme let down. Apparently there was severely understaffed and we were told that multiple times by Erica our waitress. The table next to us sat down and ordered about 10 to 15 minutes after us and got there food and drinks within a few minutes, while we were still waiting for our food. Very POOR service. I have food allergies and asked if anything I was ordering had any monosodium glutamate, due to my allergies to it and was told that the meat came on a slab. I never received an answer. So I asked again and this time was told that the kitchen was way too busy, so don't expect an answer. Needless to say I did not eat anything, except for the tortillas and queso. I will not dine here again. I think you need to get your act together.

Read all the reviews.NOT ALLERGEN FRIENDLY!!!The staff is literally too busy to check the ingredients for potential allergens. The staff is NOT trained, they are understaffed, and the food is generally subpar. The charcuterie board looked like an assortment of stuff that they picked up at the local market basket and slapped on a board. On top of that, some of the meats smelled and were very questionable.Soft drinks are served in tiny glasses with only a few ounces and refills never appear.Unfortunately, decor aside, there is not much positive that can be stated about the dining experience. I strongly suggest dining elsewhere.

Dietary restrictions: The restaurant is not friendly when it comes to food allergies or dietary restrictions. They are clearly eat at your own risk!

I booked the reservation for a party of five at 5pm on Saturday. I thought we were going to eat in the dining room. This is in a large hotel, we actually ate in the bar area. The menu is small, but everything was very good. The calamari was excellent, as was the fish and chips. The blackened shrimp tacos were good, but needed a little more filler. The staff was attentive, prices were on par for downtown Manchester.

Service was very slow. We checked in for our reservation on time and were seated, however, our waitress was not notified. After about 10 minutes, she came to the table and accused us of seating ourselves in a rude tone. We said no, we had a reservation and her demeanor immediately changed. The restaurant was nearly empty, 3 servers working and no one really served. Food was fine, but do not recommend. We were arriving from Hawaii and did not want to drive to dinner and since we were staying at the hotel, we found this option.
