2024: I recently gave The Foundry another chance. Oddly, we had the same table and waiter as we did two years ago, but had a much more pleasant experience. I would go back. Compromising on a 3 due to the prior experience2022: I’ve been before and had an enjoyable time for both food and service. Yesterday I went though and we were told there was a 2 hour limit with repeated reminders over 45 minutes. We decided to leave due to the numerous reminders from the waiter.

The Foundry is deserving of high praise. Very high end atmosphere, large drink menu, and delicious food. Views of the river if seated close and very friendly staff. Would recommend.Parking: Garage in front of restaurant with overflow on top across from UNH Manchester. Just have to avoid Texas Instruments spots

We alternate between causal to fine dining and happened to stumble upon this unique Farm to Table place last week, that by all measures fit both ends; causal but yet great cuisine. This was my first visit, though my friend had been there once before, but we both thought that we would definitely return. The Blood Orange glazed Brussels Sprouts with Toasted Pistachios appetizer was outright delicious, along with our favorite; half shelled Oysters. The Pan seared Scallops and the Black pepper Duck Entrees with the locally sourced ingredients were delectable and very savory. A unique find was their eclectic wine list; we found a bottle of a Red Saint Emilion Bordeaux, which normally does not grace wine lists at local restaurants. That paired with the entrees very well and along with the great service, made for a wonderful evening. The ambiance of the old world brick structure with the rich interior and location with plenty of parking, makes this a very warm and inviting place. Be it a date, or just an evening out with friends or family, this restaurant is a fun place to have a great meal.Dietary restrictions: They have GF options

Came in this morning with a reservation for two for 10:00 a.m. The online reservation system wouldn't allow me to adjust for our three children. Upon arriving to the restaurant the hostess said the reservation was for two and I explained the situation with the online reservation system. She said let me see what I can do and got multiple employees involved including a manager Meledina. Meledina said she would make accommodations from 9:45 am to 10:30 am but then we had to leave. First of all we were just here last weekend with a party of 3 with no reservation and we were seated in ten minutes and stayed for two hours. Second of all the fact that you weren't able to accommodate a reservation and adding a few seats to a table is ridiculous. Very unsatisfied with the customer service and treatment we received today and very unlikely we'll be returning.

Ok, so hear me out...I was skeptical of a $22 burger, but it was really good. The fries stole the show though, so crispy on the outside and delicious potato inside. The old fashioned was decent, not amazing but not horrible. The restaurant was full by the time I left and it had gotten pretty loud.Overall I'd say it's a place to go on a nice date or for an occasion.

You can have a sexy sate night here or a laid back Bite to eat. I chose the wrong entree for my tastes. However, that's my fault, not theirs. I was able to experience enough other options there to know that they offer an excellent product and an excellent waitstaff.

French onion soup is amazing, super dark broth and laden with cheese. Seared scallops delicious and cooked to perfection. Cocktails were fun, hickory smoked old fashioned. Always enjoy eating here.

Me and my wife go there every now and again for a nice dinner. We brought our kids and their significant others. So a total of six of us. The food was very good with the exception of one of the desserts. It's very loud in there, but it's not a problem really. I thought that the prices were a bit higher than I remember in the past or expected. Overall, we had a good time. And I told the waitress that it was my wife's birthday and they brought her a little dessert with a candle And I thought that was very nice.

Great service as usual here. We loved the special Ribeye, and the potato skins & chicken wings to start (& saved for later too). We both enjoyed their wonderful homemade ice cream. Often a little louder than optimal—bare brick walls combined with live music and people Trying to talk above it to have conversations.

First bad experience we've ever had there. Oysters were small with no brine and my Steak Frites, which I ordered medium, was very undercooked. We'll chalk it up to a bad night and give them another chance sometime.

Unbelievable food . Buffalo wings fall off the bone filet mignon cooked to perfection. Live music. Definitely not a cheap place but worth the price. Amazing mixed drinks. Must go!
