I never leave reviews but this place is well priced a great environment not too busy, super well kept, friendly employees, and maybe the cleanest bathrooms I’ve ever seen. Every cafe should aspire to be like this one. Great work guys keep it up

A laid back convenient lunch spot in downtown Manchester. I couldn’t finish my double Dagwood sandwich! Highly recommend it.

⚠️ Petty post warning ⚠️
Visited this branch for the last time. Unsure why this branch insists on yelling my name out but I don’t appreciate it. This is the only The Works Café that just can’t seem to figure out how to respect people wishes🤷🏼♂️
You have goods or services, I have money. You don’t need my name, my email, or a tip for taking my order. Learn to evolve or be left behind.
Rant over.
I am a frequent visitor to Manchester so I was excited to try The Works Cafe for the first time. When I walked in, there were 2 employees at the register. It seemed like maybe the boy was training the young lady. I greeted them, asked how they were. They didn’t really respond. First red flag. I ordered a large iced coffee and a Greek salad with chicken. For the coffee the gentleman handed me a cup filled with ice and instructed me to fill it from the hot coffee carafe on the counter. Ok. Only thing is… the hot coffee melted the ice, turning the entire thing into a lukewarm coffee. I returned to the counter to ask for another cup of ice, to which the male employee seemed annoyed and reluctantly gave me another cup of ice. 2nd red flag. I mean… why not just have ice coffee in a cooler already cold?
Anyway, I waited about 6 minutes for my salad to be prepared. The person who prepared it packaged it and left it sitting on a counter and walked away. I had to walk up to the counter and ask for my salad. Then had to ask for a bag, even though I specified it was a to go order. Then had to find my own napkins and cutlery.
Overall the food was decent. Just over $13 for a chicken Greek salad which is a good price. But perhaps the staff needs more training in hospitality? It just felt like I wasn’t welcomed. Anyway, the bridge cafe is across the street. Will go there instead.

Used the app and just as I got there, everything was ready to pick up. Got home and was a hero to my two friends and my boyfriend! Our favorite sandwich is turkey, bacon and avocado.

I promise I'll never come here again unless I'm desperate. I've ordered here 3 different times, getting a different menu item each time. Nothing I've had is good, and it's definitely not good enough to justify the price. The people who work here are nice and the environment is cozy, but i can think of at least 4 different cafes within a 5min drive of this place that have are leagues better in terms of food and drink quality.

I've been there a couple of times with my son, and it was pricey but not crazy.. this morning 5 minutes ago, I got a scrambled egg sandwich and coffee: over $13..
I'm a NYer, just got back from a visit, I can get that same sandwich and coffee for $9 or $10... and down the street at a gas station Cafe, the same...
what's even more laughable is my receipt shows Works has an extra charge for butter...1.20...
never seen that in my life; yes I should have said no thanks +walked out..
10-8-25..
gas station Cafe in hooksett: egg sandwich with butter+chz, coffee.... 6.50

I got delivery. No I did not take photos because I want to eat my food after waiting for it to be delivered. I got the bacon egg and cheese on the Work bagel. I also ordered the small chocolate peanut butter smoothie. I used to love breakfast sandwiches and eat them all the time but the last few years I have not been able to eat eggs because my brain just stopped liking them. Occasionally, I will try to get a breakfast sandwich With an egg to see how it goes and I can never make it through it and have to throw it away. This breakfast sandwich was delicious. A little salty, but I don’t know if that was because of just the combination of the works bagel, the bacon and the cheddar, most likely, but I was able to eat the whole thing and my brain didn’t ruin it for me. The smoothie is also delicious. I am a big smoothie lover and you guys hit out of the park. Thank you!
