Atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, wait staff was attentive, food was delicious! We stopped in here on the way back from the lake, was a tad fancier than how we were dressed, but they let us eat dinner and we were glad they did! (They were not crowded, or we would have respectfully, left). Enjoy!

My family and I came here for the first time and I wish I could say I had a good experience or even be able to give my opinion on the food. Upon arrival we were told the wait was 35 to 40 minutes. After almost an hour of waiting and our names being on a list we got overlooked and others who came in after us were taken in.

As we first walked in it was like a homestyle seating. Tables and chairs plus a wrap around bench. I myself ordered the chicken and waffle sandwich... it was delicious. Hand cut fries and homemade pickles were delicious. Plus the sweet chili maple syrup spread was yummy. My wife had ordered the mushroom cibatta which she thought was delicious. Both of us were full so we ordered the banana bread pudding to take home. That to me was not so delicious. Since I was thinking it was going to be homemade banana bread turned into a bread pudding. Which I've made plenty of bread pudding in my life of many of ways... old fashioned, apple etc... But 2 out 3 isn't bad.

I have come here a several times. Always enjoyed the food, atmosphere and young waitresses. I believe in supporting local small businesses. But only to those owners who support their staff. After the recent events from the owner treating their staff so horrible, I won't be returning. Do better!

My boyfriend and I have been coming to this restaurant ever since it had opened a few years back. We have always been a fan of the food, service, and restaurant! But we went on Valentine’s Day for dinner… we have been when they have been slow, busy, and everything in between.
But this night was different… I felt so sorry for our waitress, whom was pretty much taking all the orders of most of the tables, she was practically in tears before we had left. Mind you, this waitress has been there for almost the whole time of this restaurant being open and we have never had any problems with her or anyone at there. From what it looked like, the head chef, guy who was wearing a dark green gray hat, started to yell and cuss out staff during service! There were children dinning mind you, and you can see and hear everything. It completely brought down the whole energy of everyone’s experience. People were walking over to see what was happening. Plates and other pans were being thrown around as well.
Hostile work environment, I have never seen that take place there before. I felt so bad for all the staff effected by this man, I get working in a kitchen is stressful especially on a night like Valentine’s Day but that is no excuse for someone in a leader position to react and act that way towards his team, disgusting behavior. I hope the chef reads this and maybe takes some time to reflect from this.
Not only did this scene take place, the food which is usually great was not up to their usual quality. The seafood chowder, was a third of the size, quality was compromised by being greasy, less seafood than usual, way more potatoes as filler, and seemed it was a bit burnt. The color of the chowder was even different from the normal color (usually is a creamy white color but on that night it was this tan pinkish color.) The fish from the fish and chips was undercooked as well.
Normally, this place is great but I’m not impressed with the chef 🤷🏻♀️.

Went here on Valentine’s Day. Great food quiet family setting. The wait staff was great until the chef started yelling and swearing at staff for all the dinning area to hear. Place went quiet!!!! You have a great concept in a great demographic. TAKE OUT YOUR TRASH!!!
