Great lunch at Frog Rock! With the new owners, we weren't sure what to expect, but everything was great! We sat at the bar, very friendly bartender who makes an excellent spicy margarita!

Came in to grab a quick bite to eat while walking around downtown. I had eaten here before a few years prior and enjoyed it but this time I was VERY impressed. It had a small bar/townie vibe that’s no thrills but it’s comfortable. I ordered a chicken tender basket with bbq sauce. It was absolutely PHENOMENAL. I was blown away with how good it was. The chicken was high quality , the bbq sauce was some of the best I’ve ever tasted and the fries were large, crunchy and delicious. I got a drink from the bar which was delicious as well. Kelly was our waitress and was attentive and took our order quickly. Whatever Frog Rock is doing they need to keep doing it. I’ll definitely be coming back again and highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

We stopped in here on a visit up to Meredith during our vacation time around the lake. Very chill atmosphere and laid back staff. The front room was a bit noisy for our tastes, but hey, it's a tavern! But the back room was chill and comfortable and had the soccer game on (no sound, thanks!).
We had great attention from the waitress who checked on us and made sure things were good. The food was surprisingly good, with nice variations (such as turkey burgers) and a great selection of salads. Something you don't normally see in basic bar food.
The portions were quite large, so we ended up with a lot of leftovers, and the bill did reflect the portions, so while it was a little expensive, you're definitely getting your moneys worth!
