Always a great experience. Lighting is fantastic, service is amazing and food is good. Menu hasn't changed in forever though but the quality tonight was not up to par. Hopefully just an off night because the restaurant is beautiful year round. Can be a casual dinner or date night.

This is a 5 star + restaurant with some of the best food...service...atmosphere...cocktails I have had in a long time...my best dining experience so far while visiting the New Hampshire area...location is beautiful along the lake...the inside decor is so warm and inviting...and I explore many restaurants all over and the bartenders here are some of the best I have ever seen...professional...talented...observant...and on point...the crowd is very upscale and awesome...the food is amazing...and the BEST Espresso Martini I have had in the area...it is always busy so get there early to sit at the bar and just enjoy the atmosphere...I had the Seafood Rissoto that was absolutely amazing...

I would give 10 stars if I could. The Marsala was AMAZING, perfect balance. The chicken is super tender and the dish is all around perfect. This place never disappoints!

Why would you put green beans and carrots in bland chicken piccata, tasteless chicken marsala . Cheap low quality alcoholic drinks. Two stars for the view.

Fourth of July Weekend the patio looking over the lake was closed…. Very disappointing with such a great view, empty patio going to waste. Photos of the empty patio and the view.

Lago's is our favorite restaurant in Meredith. But there was some confusion last evening with our Chicken Marsala. The sauce that was served on top of the chicken was the same sauce our daughter had on her Beef Ribs. We didn't want to make a fuss since it was my husband's birthday celebration. We ate some then had it boxed.

We stopped by to have dinner at Lago. The tuna tartar was really good. Big chunk of tuna and fresh. Good flavor. I am not sure if the tuna tartar sauce was soy or teriyaki. I think it might be teriyaki sauce. If it was, it really needed to be soy sauce. The bolegnese pasta is a recommend. The noodles cooked perfectly. Plenty of meat and the suace and cheese were perfect. The salmon dish was the other one my wife ordered. The salmon cooked perfectly and smokey. The chili sauce was too overpowering. If the chili sauce wasn't there, it would be perfect as is because the avocado yogurt drizzle compliments the salmon and other ingredients. Our sever was very attentive and friendly. I would definitely return again. Priced were reasonably. Food came fast.

My husband and I ventured to the lake for a romantic date night. The restaurant is adorable. It’s obvious that Alex has a passion for old buildings, I absolutely adore this. The food was good. Apps and complimentary bread and olives were the best part. The tuna appetizer was delicious although, there was way too much avocado (that’s saying something from someone who loves avocado). It was about an inch thick on the top. The burrata was tasty. Our main course meals were just okay. The eggplant and Marsala. Certainly would recommend though if you’re looking for quick service and elegance!
