After the season was over so train, cruise, and some restaurants were closed but it was still worthwhile to drive around the lake and visit the small towns around the way. Bay View was very comfortable, easy parking, great mattress, gorgeous view.
Unprofessional Management very Cold.
Sad when quality workers are needed for the area.

Lovely restaurant in Meredith, NH that overlooks Lake Winnipesaukee. Great atmosphere. Server was attentive and accommodating. Had the lobster roll and the NY-style cheesecake. They were both excellent. If you can get a view of the lake, Whether it's outside or inside, It's definitely worth it.

I never leave reviews but I do feel this one is warranted. The food was not good and it cost way too much. Meredith food in general was mediocre but this took the crown for most disappointing.

Four of us had dinner last night and we all enjoyed our meal. We love the special cheese and crackers that one can help themselves to before dinner. We love the atmostphere and the views. Karen, our waitress, is terrific. It looks like they may be short-handed - she was working very hard! A 5 star would have been earned except for one thing - PLEASE contact the Common Man team to update the website. It indicates no reservations and yet when we arrived, we were asked if we have a reservation. The hostess seemed a bit clueless. Please get this web update fixed. More people would dine here if they know they can have a table reserved.

Stayed in Meredith and ate here, nice food, nice atmosphere, all located in the heart of the town with not many options, worth a visit
Anniversary dinner at Lake House Grill was a disappointment— I took my wife to Lake House Grill for our anniversary dinner, expecting a down-home, old-fashioned ribeye. Instead, I was disappointed in both quality and quantity. The mashed potatoes looked like a smear on the plate, and the broccolini was so tough it needed a chain saw to cut—stringy and undercooked and burnt.
The ribeye had decent flavor and texture, I’ll give them that. I’m not sure if they’re struggling to keep the lights on, but the skimpy portions make you wonder. Honestly, I would’ve been better off at McDonald’s. We drank a few martinis just to dull the experience. Traditional ribeye dinners usually come with a hearty helping of potatoes and vegetables, which this simply did not. No complaints on our waiter who was a perfect gentleman.
If you’re looking for a decent traditional meat-and-potato dinner, look elsewhere.

The quality of the food and service have gone down hill. You don't get what you pay for. Lagos and Camp down the road are much better

The playlist was not matching the vibe of the place. The food was a disaster. Risotto was way to liquid and the stakes where low quality and not seasoned at all.
The price for sure didn't match the quality of the food. Service was done poorly and there where many mistakes done thet we tried to overlook.
Overall i am very disappointed. There was not crowded at all so we where expecting a better experience.

We had a great dinner here. Sat right by the window with a view of the water. We had the chips appetizer (like a hybrid between chips and French fries), husband had the steak sandwich, and I had the tuna. Food was all delicious, our waiter was excellent, everything came out quick and hot. Would return!

Both my wife and I had the Reuben sandwich and fries and it was the best we’ve ever had. Emma our waitress was outstanding. We’ll be back and will spread the word to our friends about the Lake House Grille. Also the atmosphere is amazing and the view of the lake completes the setting.

Been coming here for years. My only gripe is they refuse to fix there beer fridges cause they say the owner is cheap, so the beer is 50 degrees . I mean even the cooler displays the temp so everyone can see it. Noone likes warm beer. Get it fixed
Excellent corn and lobster chowder and New England haddock. Would have liked a shore dinner on menu. We went two nights in a row and it is good to have a reservation because it can fill up fast.
What a disappointing experience tonight at the Lakehouse Restaurant
We got married at Mill Falls Resort Collection at the Lake in 2020, and ever since, we've made it a tradition to vacation in the area and enjoy a special dinner at the Lakehouse each year. While we don’t stay at Church Landing anymore—your room rates have become unrealistically high—we’ve always looked forward to dining at the Lakehouse as part of our trip.
Tonight, we arrived at 5:01 PM to find an empty dining room—truly not a single person in sight. When we asked about sitting in the main dining area, specifically the “200 section” (which we’re very familiar with since we had our rehearsal dinner there), the hostess told us there were reservations. She checked with the manager, Jen, who declined our request “just in case” a larger party came in. Instead, we were placed in the lounge.
When we left at 6:25 PM, the main dining room still had plenty of empty tables—many of the exact ones we had inquired about. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing to feel turned away from a space we have sentimental ties to, despite there clearly being room.
The only saving grace of the evening was our server, Jaden C., who was absolutely fantastic. Her service and attitude were excellent, and without her, the entire night would have been a loss.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t help the situation. My husband ordered his filet medium, and it arrived quite rare. When we sent it back, it returned with the blue cheese topping completely burnt. At that point, we were just over it.
I understand the need for reservations, but when there are clearly available tables, and walk-in guests arrive first, there should be more flexibility—especially when those same lounge tables seat 4–6 guests anyway. We still took up just as much space.
It’s upsetting to see how this place has changed. After years of loyalty and special memories here, I think it’s time we find somewhere else to start a new tradition
