Sub Crazy is simply the best. High quality, delicious cooking. The best subs and sides in the lakes region. I wish they'd do a Sicilian style pan pizza as well, I think they'd nail it.

As a local, I can confidently say this place is one of the best things about our town. I’ve tried countless sub shops over the years, and nothing, I mean nothing- even comes close to The Chicken Downtown. The quality, flavor, and freshness are unmatched every single time.
Their special The Chicken Downtown sub is on another level. Perfect chicken cutlet and prosciutto paired with mozzarella, roasted red peppers, arugula, onions & balsamic glaze with a yummy, soft roll that somehow holds everything together without falling apart- it’s perfection in sandwich form. Every bite is exactly what you hope for when you’re craving comfort food done right.
And don’t even get me started on their Chicken Finger sub- it’s the kind of sub you think about days later and wish you had again. Juicy, flavorful, and so satisfying. My fiancé swears by their Italian, and I’ll admit- it’s just as amazing. Loaded, fresh, and made with real care (coming from someone who doesn’t even like Italians)
We’ve been here more times than I can count, and not once have we had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly, the food is always spot-on, and you can tell they take real pride in what they serve.
If you haven’t tried The Chicken Downtown yet, stop what you’re doing and go. Seriously. You’ll walk out saying exactly what we did- “Damn, that was one hell of a sub.”

Get there early this shop is super busy during the summer months with a wait line out the door at the opening time. The roast beef sub is absolutely to die for. Looking forward to going back and trying other items. Shop is nice and clean and they handle orders pretty efficiently!
I couldn't have been happier unless I was able to unhinge my jaws to bite into this huge, fresh, delicious sub! Very tasty, fresh and all 4 of us ordered different things and everyone was happy! This hidden gem is closer to everything yet tucked to the side so parking made it very accessible. Only wish they had seating or a couple of picnic benches outside since it was lovely weather but that will not deter us from going again. While we sat outside it was obvious locals know about this place because it was a steady group of people going in and out. Highly recommend!

I mentioned to a friend on the beach that we forgot to bring my wife's containers of home made sauce from the freezer at home in MA. He said SubCrazy has the best meatballs. So I went by today and bought (6) meatballs and sauce. FANTASTIC. I've grabbed a few subs from here on the way home over the years all excellent. I highly recommend stopping here. It's more of an Italian Deli than a sub shop.
