I love this place! It’s a busy little sandwich shop in Meredith that has a little bit of something for everyone. Prices might seem a little high but the portions are HUGE and it’s great quality. Italian sub, Italian salad, bucket of balls are my top 3! If you’re impatient or short on time consider online ordering because this place is usually busy.

I've lived in the area since 2014. Hadn't been in until a few weeks ago. Have been three times since. I deliver for Green mountain furniture and travel from the Canadian border to New York State for work. Hands down the best Italian I have had. As you can imagine I eat a lot of subs. The steak giambotta is also world class. Going through the one star reviews on here is laughable at best. Pete responds to any air, bad review and offers to correct it. The unfair reviews get talked to exactly the way they should. He is a no-nonsense guy that makes damn good food. I personally love the attitude. Sure it can come off as abrasive but the man knows what he is doing and he wants to do it efficiently. Adam and I will be back often enough to make up for any of those karens that cried they are never coming back. Thanks for the great lunch. -Zac

Weirdest experience I ever had ordering a sub! I ordered the sub the same way I have for 30 years by telling the girl at the register, which one I wanted. She asked me for my name and I told her she asked me to repeat my name and I told her in a slightly increased volume to which she then replied that I didn’t need to yell at her. perplexed and attempting to explain that I was just trying to speak more clearly I handed her my card. Then she asked me if she should return my card to me in the same fashion that I’d given it to her. at first, I thought this might be a joke like some TikTok thing or maybe one of those restaurants were they say some really wacky stuff as part of their stick. No what I learned was the velocity with which the card made contact with her hand was too great. so I replied that I thought she was being too sensitive, and then it just divulged into some tirade about her being a nurturer and me not being a good or a nice person, etc. so if you’re looking for a crazy experience You too can walk in this place just a hungry guy and come out some chauvinist that yells at women assaults them with credit cards and couldn’t nurture a rock if you tried just all around a horrible person. Anyway, I ate half the damn sub and my gut hasn’t been right since.

I am what you would describe as crazy about subs but very picky. The bread has to be fresh and the meat and cheese must be the best. Well, I just tried the old school Italian and I was so amazed with the taste of all the Italian meats and cheese coming together it was just short of being in heaven. There is plenty of meat. You have to try it. We’re going back for sure and I am 1 hour away! Debbie

Great subs! However, half the time I go there they are closed for vacation. (No exaggeration either)
Edit: Not just for those Feb. or Oct. vacations, but periodically throughout the year. Including the grueling summer. ?

I've been going there off and on for about a year always had good Subs the last two times I've been there the subs I get are Italian and the lettuce has been soaking wet and the bread is soaking wet by the time I get home to eat it

I am a local and I hardly ever complain. I’ve been here twice recently and both time a bad experience. When I just called to tell the people working there over the phone about my complaint, they got extremely mad and hung up on me and said “now your going to listen to me talk” in a mean angry way. Just look at the responses from the owner on the other 1 star reviews, he is constantly fighting his customers!? They're a business and should listen to customers feedback especially when I just called to let you know how I just felt about my experience. They treated the woman in front of me very poorly saying “if you want coke there’s coke next door” - a very low way to speak to people and I did not like that. I don’t know what bug they have crawling up their sleeve but you guys need to work on your customer service. It was not pleasant and I will not return and also let others around me know about my experience there. I wish I didn’t have to post this publicly but the phone call clearly didn’t work because whoever I was speaking to hung up on me. You guys make everything look good but don’t make people feel good. God bless this business.
