Buckleys Bakery & Cafe

I went in today and got a GF lemon poppyseed muffin. Double yum!! It was almost as good as the GF raspberry cheesecake muffin :).

I am absolutely OBSESSED with their cold brew coffee. Their gourmet chocolates blew me away, I got a pack to share and after I tried one, I kept them all to myself! I do wish they had more gluten free food options. I have seen macarons, gluten free muffins, and then some desserts that are gluten free by nature like creme brulee and chocolate mousse. The most disappointing thing happened the other day though...their beautiful desserts and delicious food were completely over powered by the smell (and taste!!) of cleaner. I don't know if they switched cleaning products lately, but they use one that I've smelled before in other establishments (California Burrito) and it is SOOOOO strong that it actually gets absorbed by some of the food. I got a creme brulee and was so disappointed because the beautiful toppings tasted like cleaner. Please please switch to a frangrance free option, a food establishment should not smell like artificial cleaner when you walk in the front door.

Everything from the Panini's to the baked treats were delicious. Suck a cute little bakery.

I can only eat gluten-free and this place is wonderful. Their muffins were not dry and the store is charming. Lots of little things to buy as gifts for yourself or others.

This large but garbage place is so loaded with merchandise that accessible seating is insufficient (4 chairs and 2 tables). Food sugary, pizza bland, coffee mediocre.

Nice coffee shop! Stopped boy while passing through for some caffeination the other day. Had a nice iced London Fog Latte. Definitely recommend for a nice coffee shop with some creative choices.

Parking: They have their own free parking lot, however, when they are busy it can be really tricky to get a spot. Also, the parking lot is narrow and tight - somewhat difficult to navigate.

The absolute hands down BEST coffee and croissant I've had north of VA!! The staff were welcoming and tolerated my sudden overwhelming indecisiveness with a smile. There were so many food and coffee options that looked beautiful and delicious. If you're in the area, it is absolutely worth your time and money without a doubt. Id like to thank the staff again for their great suggestions and phenomenal coffee!!

I am a repeat customer at Buckley's as I work about 5 minutes away. The iced tea is always perfect (strong without being too strong) and always tastes the same- unlike "chain" places where you're never quite sure what you'll get. I've had they pizza and while a little oily, it tastes great and I would order it again- my 12 year old son agrees and he's not easy to please. I also love their protein bites. My favorite is the Gluten friendly peanut butter protein muffin and the gluten friendly reverse chocolate chip muffin- I just picked up a half dozen to bring on a trip and will do my best not to eat them before we leave. The only tiny "downside" is that ordering is a bit all over the place. I never know quite where to stand or where to go, and feel a little awkward. If I'm waiting I always let people know to go around me and I'm all set/ so they don't have to wait behind me. Thinking there may be a better way to plan that. Overall- the prices may be a bit higher than the norm but I feel it's worth it for the quality, taste, and friendly atmosphere. I like it for it's homey atmosphere and always friendly staff.
