Second time in a row this place has been GREAT. It’s been here forever but the location sometimes makes you forget about it. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. Empanadas and accompanying sauces were excellent. Order some of their homemade matcha/salsa when you ask for hot sauce!!
Better than its rating by a lot - eat here today!

Came here for taco Tuesday, it was disgusting and pathetic $2 beef or chicken, hard shell only, it was like out of a movie, the chicken was cold dry and tasteless and the beef was so salty it was practically inedible, just because you have a "special" doesn't mean you can just throw any garbage on a plate, it's like they're punishing you for being a cheapskate, also don't like only one free basket of chips, how often have you seen that, talk about cheap, and lunch specials only run until 1:00?
Food is amazing but I can never call this place to put it an order.
We had dinner tonight at the bar, the food was outstanding!! We had chori pollo, shrimp and cheese empanadas, chicken tacos, cheese quesadilla and rice, all were fantastic!!!! The drinks were delicious as well. The service was the absolute best part!! John was attentive, got our order correct, offered condiments and anything else we needed…he kept our drinks refilled and checked in on us frequently. The best bartender I’ve had there yet and there are some good ones!! Would definitely recommend you try el tapatio and sit with John at the bar, you will love it!!

Got the carnitas tapatio to go... Was sadly disappointed. There was no picodegallo no jalapeno and no tortillas as described in the menu. Food was also rather bland. Chips and salsa were good though. Have not tried any other items .
I had the chicken fajitas. They were good. They only had 2 tortillas when it said they'd come with 3.
My daughter had the kids' chicken quesadilla. She enjoyed it but said it needed more cheese. She was not at all impressed with the French fries that came with it.
There was enough for both of us to have 2 meals.

The place is in a strip mall and, although it doesn't look very big from the outside, it's spacious inside with a bar area. It was busy around lunchtime on a Saturday, but we got a table without a wait, which was the shortest wait.
We had to wait patiently for the server to take our order and serve the customary chips and salsa. We noticed only two servers taking orders, seating people, and serving food across 8 or 9 different tables, plus a handful of bar patrons.
I ordered the Jalapeño Revenge Margarita, which was really well-made and spicy. For the main course, we ordered Enchilada Tapatías, Sizzling Chicken and Shrimp, and a Fried Chicken Chimichanga. We were anticipating long wait times, but the food came out quickly. However, instead of the Chimichanga, we received Arroz Con Pollo. The server admitted his mistake and quickly replaced it with the Chimichanga. He did not charge us for the mix-up, and we reciprocated by offering a generous tip in cash.
The food was delicious, much better than we expected. The staff was friendly but stretched too thin. The ambiance was decent, and the service definitely has room for improvement. We highly recommend this place if you have patience or can trade it off for good food and margaritas.
Vegetarian options: There are enough vegetarian options sprinkled in across different sections of the menu and I recall seeing a vegetarian section as well
Parking: Depending upon the day and time, the parking can be tight, but you should find a spot
Wheelchair accessibility: Did not see any ramp or push buttons to open the door, in fact did not see any reserved parking spots for handicapped

I would review the food but barely got in the front door. The waitress was the most unbelievable rude person. We went to join our daughter and the booth was too small for my husband. We asked to pull up a chair or something and she was awful .She does not belong in service. I believe her name started with an A. The young gentleman Christian who spoke with us on the way out was a gem.

The best Mexican restaurant in town. The food was delicious. The drinks are the best they now offer margarita flights, and Mimosa flights, and the service just makes it even better. I will definitely be coming back.
