Hayward's Ice Cream - Merrimack

Hayward’s never fails I swear! I’ve been going to Hayward’s for over a decade now and the quality has always been consistent and their flavors are so creative. There’s always so much mix ins and the ice cream consistency is never frozen hard like other places, even if you get a pint or a qt to bring home. I’ve tried other local ice cream shops but always end up back at Haywards. Surprisingly the food/snacks at the Merrimack location is great! We got fries the other day and came out piping hot and crispy! 10/10 this is my go-to ice cream place for as long as I live in the area!

When you make an ice cream cone the scoops need to go on top of one another above the cone. Dummies made the cone with a scoop hanging off the side and when it was melting all over the place and I ran back for napkins the girl yelled out the window to ask if I wanted a cup for that. If I wanted a cup, I wouldn’t have paid $6.62 for a cone! Honestly wanted to ask for the tip back. Learn how to make an ice cream cone!

Love Haywards! Their soft serve isn’t too sweet which I love. We go at least once a week

It took forever to get because there were just a bunch teenagers hanging out. This will not be forgiven and I pretty mad. I was tired and I was very angry. But I will return because there cookies and cream is really good. I would recommend. 5 stars

Staff was really great and helpful. We hoped this location had delicious vegan options like another location we’ve been to. The only options were sherbet which weren’t tasty and corn syrup based.

$7.27 for a SINGLE scoop of ice cream! The ice cream was good - it's ice cream so hard to mess that up but save yourself some $ and go over a block to King Kone where the price is smaller and the portions are bigger.

Had higher expectations, the flavor was great but the texture was not— my mint chip had a gritty sort of sandy/ freezer burnt texture and I was pretty disappointed, especially since it was so expensive
