Went to take my son to get ice cream walk all the way to the door and they are closed for ordering unless you go through the drive through. Don’t say you’re open if we can’t come in and order ice cream. We’ll go down the street to the big one now. Just close if you don’t have enough staff to take orders inside or at the walk up windows.

Employees were on their cell phones texting while a line of 5 customers were waiting to order ice cream After quite a while one gentlemen said something and they started laughing. It was cold and rainy while we were made to stand outside and wait for service. We left without ice cream. We will never go back

Not impressed tonight, paid for 3 scoops which came to about $8.00 and got home and the bottom 1/3 of the cup is empty. No standards and no quality control. What a rip off! But hey you know what happens at the drive-thru!

rude employees, they try to ignore you when you are there within the closing hour. Online in multiple places it states they close at 9 but after ignoring us for 10 mins they tells us they close at 8. idk how they r still open.

I went there to get an ice cream. I got a one scoop cone that said it was $5.50. when I got to the window they said $6.30. I asked why. They said it was because of the meal tax. When I looked at the receipt, it was not only the meals tax, they charge, but a $0.35 fee if you get a sugar cone. I have never been to another ice cream establishment that charges for a sugar cone. That's just being extremely cheap. When they have to nickel and dime you like that there is no sense in going. It didn't make eating my ice cream joyful. I won't be back.

Two words: APPALACHIAN TRAIL!!! Just order it, don't even think twice. I usually get it with extra heath bar pieces just to splurge and be extra. It's hands down the most amazing icecream I've ever had in my life. And honestly, I usually get just 1 scoop and it's a very large scoop. I actually struggle to finish the whole thing in a sitting. Absolutely phenomenal. My only complaint is sometimes when I order the extra heath bar, it's just powder leftover heath bar. Kind of annoying since I paid for extra and I get powder. Not a big enough complaint to kick a star off though.

The worst managed establishment in Merrimack hands down. Management is completely incompetent or non-existent. The “workers” look at you while playing on their phones like it’s weird you’re standing at the window trying to order something. I have to think the 1st thing their incompetent managers teach them is never get with in 15’ of the customer order windows and never make eye contact because you might need to actually work. I grew up loving Haywards and their service was always on point. kids were always at the windows willing to take the next order. With Haywards really good product this location could easily have twice the business but it’s well know at this point that it’s not worth the aggravation for an ice cream. This place is an absolute embarrassment.

This place has the nerves to force me to pay tip cuz the owner could not pay their employees better but could charge more money for the ice cream if I could I would boy cut this place thieves I would give zero stars if I could tip should be optional

If I could leave a zero I would. We drove half an hour to get ice cream. We went through the drive through and it said closed. We assumed the store was still opened as it was 8:45 and two websites said opened till 9 and the lights were on. Walked up to the window and no one would speak to me. Windows where shut. I mouthed to one girl " are you closed? Your website says you close at 9" She ignored me, turned her head and said to another worker "if we are closed, we are closed" I asked if there was a manager on duty and all of the high school workers scurried to the back except for one young boy who wouldn't make eye contact with me. Is that seriously how you treat your loyal paying customers? Show a little respect and open the window and say we closed early for whatever reason. Clearly they are very poorly trained and shouldn't be left alone without a manager to serve customers. I've never seen a place run so poorly and such inexperienced and immature staff. The other two customers who showed up were not pleased as well. And I will add my two screenshots that clearly states they were opened till nine.

Great ice cream. If it's warm, it'll be busy! Drive thru is also an option. Order a size smaller than you think you should, always too much ice cream! Great window order policy.
