The Common Man Merrimack

We tried the Common Man again after not eating there for a while. The atmosphere was nice with the Christmas decorations. Our server and all the staff we encountered were very gracious and helpful. Unfortunately they were having a very tough night in the kitchen. There were significant delays with food and our dinners were mixed up with another couple, who had to leave without eating because they had movie tickets. My husband ended up with the wrong meal but ate it anyway. The chicken I got was overdone and was just okay. They did comp my husband’s meal and gave us a free dessert. We were sorry they were having such a tough night!

Great food

Went here for a date with my husband. We had a whole room to ourselves (this might be rare) but even if there were others, it would have been just as fantastic. Food was delicious, staff was great. Our new favorite place.

What a fabulous restautant!!!! We came here for a birthday celebration. The food was amazing, our waiter was fabulous, and the atmosphere was cozy and festive! We will definitely be back!

Came here for lunch with the kids. Wait staff was friendly (one star for this), food came out reasonably quick, but what a horrible meal. Got two orders of the chicken tacos... Absolutely disgusting and inedible, sent back both orders. Got a kids pizza, sauce was gross and crust was like card board. The only halfway decent item was the kids chicken tenders with fries (thus the second star).

They should be ashamed of themselves for serving food like this! We will never come back and recommend you save your money and don't either. 🤢

First it was freezing, it was 63 degrees. The service was good until the waiter never came back with the bill. It seems like there a wannabe restaurant but it looks like they live there. But I was so excited when we ordered the ding done ding was good but very anticlimactic. The burger I ordered was cold and the chicken tenders was all bread no chicken. 2.5 stars overall do not recommend.

Walked in on a busy Fri night and was able to get a table for 4 . My waitress was very kind and accommodating. The cheese and crackers are a cool touch. Everyone's food was very good. My lobster corn chowder was delicious with one huge piece of lobster I broke up into a bunch of smaller bites with the soup. My steaktips were flavorful and cooked perfect. I would definitely return. The complimentary white chocolate with the bill is fun too.

The Sweet Corn Bacon Ravioli at the Common Man in Merrimack is nothing short of extraordinary. Every bite hits that rare sweet spot between comfort and sophistication. Simply put: this is one of the best pasta dishes in New Hampshire, and a must-order.
