The Common Man Merrimack

Always fantastic anytime we goto n.h. to visit we always stop at the common man with the inlaws.

The Greater Merrimack Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce recently held our Board of Directors Retreat at The Common Man in Merrimack. We had a great experience from the service to the food and atmosphere! Their team did an incredible job! Thank you to The Common Man!

well this building is pretty old and it sort of feels it, plenty of dining area in the front and back....we ate at the small bar area...had the normal very good free cheese and crackers and a very pleasant, violet, as a bartender....drinks were good and different ( a dirty mart with a rim of i forget) but nice, lunch was very good, a spinach strawberry salad and a pb&j burger (a what????) that was very good and different....nice spot, recommended!!!

No one needs or want to go to work and be called explicit names....older servers..giving seaters money...bartenders..to make drinks first..oh and not excepting tables under 4....it's ashame......I worked their for 6 months...and now Im making 100's of dollars more a shift...that I ever made here..

Our favorite place!! Merrimack location is truly the best. We always have loved ❤️ every dish. We love to cook at home and let me tell ya, only restaurant that pleases us 100 percent! Delicious bread basket ( homemade hot buttered rolls) with chocolate chip bread tonight. Cheese and crackers out of this world! Haddock tonight topped with lobster, 🦞 baked potato and broccoli. Hubby had the perfect Filet ( yum) he didn’t share :-( Looked so good! Best drinks from Shawn( downstairs bar) orange cosmo and Common man red wine. Amazing!( such a sweetheart, great bartender)! Truly… thank you for a wonderful experience!!! I appreciate (we) every detail of our bread, snacks, meals, drinks and best service ever!!! Absolutely delicious!! Thank you!! Xo and Happy New Year!!

I’ve always loved The Common Man and their food, but tonight’s experience was one of a kind. Tammy (Tamara) was our waitress. She was nothing shy of incredible. She was kind, patient, and personable. She could see that my toddler was getting antsy for her food, and offered her some oranges to eat. She brought them over free of charge. She interacted with my kids and made us feel so at home. Tammy was the best waitress I have had anywhere hands down.

Incredible food at reasonable prices. There is nothing like eating in a vintage building. Forget the chains and experience a bit of history with dinner.

Cool spot! Upstairs has a cool corner space. Living room style. Great cocktails! Banana bread old fashioned was phenomenal. Paired with pb & jam burger. Cooked to perfection.
