Ummm...not sure where people have been eating but I am a chef and this place needs a make over. First impression was "dusty" and old.

Very friendly place. Everyone greets each other and has friendly convo. Waitresses/bartenders very accommodating for little kids. Very affordable prices, especially for kids. Food has a home-cooked feel to it. Would recommend for a hassle free, affordable meal.

Nice people but the food is dreadful. My wife and I couldn’t even finish our meals. The steak in the so called steak salad was dry with an aftertaste that can best be described as liver. It was an inferior cut poorly prepared. The chicken cordon blu wrap was in name only. The meats were dry and the wrap stale. The French fries were soggy and tasteless. Explore better option and stay away at all costs.

Bartenders are incredibly rude I didn't order food because the staff made me so uncomfortable.

On April 8th 2023 we sent this message to The Village Eatery. "Hello, we were online looking for a place to eat your pictures of food had alot of 5 stars and the food looked outstanding. We came in for breakfast just after 11 and very hungry. We were standing at the door. There was only a few people that had been seated and it was not busy at all. We stood for a good 20 minutes and no one sat us so we sat ourselves. The waitress saw us but didn't seat us. She didn't even say Hello. Another 10 minutes went by we had no menu no silverware no coffee and still no acknowledgment from the waitress who did see us come and did see us sit down. We ended up leaving and still she never said a word to us. We left starving and disappointed but thankfully Charlie's homestyle diner was just down the road they were packed but we managed to get some coffee and breakfast. I wanted to let you know what happened rather then just leaving a review of our experience on your page." It is May 17, 2023 and we still have had no responce no acknowledgment of any kind wanted to now leave the review here in hopes someone from The VillageEatery could respond.

Great home made food.Although in a strip mall, great old school homey atmosphere, like a decades old home town dinner. Very comfortable.Service is fine with owner very involved and active in day to day operations.Lots of senior citizens.Completely unpretentious. Look elsewhere for trendy, hip or cool.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp

Make sure you have a lot of time. Food took way too long to come to table. 1 hour! Then got one meal at a time for our party of 6. Mostly cold. If hot it maybe ok.

It was our first time going to the eatery for breakfast, after driving by for a couple of years we decided to give it a shot.We won't be returning. The atmosphere was stale, the waitstaff did what they could given the situation. At one point we could over hear the waitstaff commenting that the bartender would be fired by the manager due to misplacing a phone used for meals on wheels, unacceptable and unprofessional. Then the food arrived, we ordered a Greek omelette and a hash omelette. The Greek omelette had spinach that was past its day to say the least and the hash browns were under cooked. Hash omelette was fine, home fries were interesting, a mix of home fries and mash potatoes. Interesting to say the most!Beyond what was previously stated the manager was abrupt with customers and very unprofessional in my opinion.
