The Bob House And The Reel 'N Tavern

We dined in and completely enjoyed our evening and Meal. The staff was attentive without being over bearing. The food was good and we feel would like to return to the Bob House. The only thing I would change is the roll used on the French dip a brioche roll is not ideal for dipping.

I’ve been there numerous times and it’s always been really good but you know when things start out bad they go downhill first. The guy at the desk acted like he was doing us a favor by sitting us. The waitress was fair, but you could tell she was just for the tips, the quality and the price really gone downhill. I’ll never come back again.

If you like my reviews please follow me. First time visit to The Bob House and loved the place. The food was spectacular. We had the fried Haddock, a shrimp salad. And must have steak and cheese rolls. These are really really delicious. I loved the place so much I even bought a sweatshirt to wear proudly back in florida. This place is a must visit and call out those steak and cheese rolls again.

Portions were large, price was reasonable and the young lady who waited on us was excellent. We drone up from MA on our motorcycles on Wednesday for lunch. We will be back.

Always delicious, always fun.
It can get very busy especially during peak tourist season, so reservations are recommended.
As a bonus, there's ice cream right next door afterwards at Ice Out Scoops!

As someone who considers themselves a "foodie", I appreciate and respect a restaurant that serves amazing food.

"The Auger" at the Bob House was the best sandwich I've ever had in my life. I have had many sandwiches, but this one blew my expectations out of the water.

The bread was toasty, not soggy, the pastrami was amazing, the hints of subtle bacon in the sandwich was a great touch, fries were amazing, french onion soup was amazing, the drinks are made great. There isn't one negative thing I could say even if I tried. The fact there are two bars in the restaurant is a nice unique touch. The owner is usually walking around as she is making sure everyone is happy and helping in any way she can.

All around gem. Love this place. Everything on the menu is delicious with a great and lively atmosphere!

Sat at the bar with my daughter, I ordered haddock, when it came it seemed undercooked- very gray in color/borderline translucent. I said something to bartender she seemed a bit annoyed, asked if I wanted to send it back, which I did. A new piece came out basically when my daughter was finished with her meal. Still gray, didn’t taste “bad” but definitely didn’t taste good. Haddock is supposed to be white. The other apps we get there are quite good so maybe it’s just not a good place for seafood…
