Ordered a last minute take out on New Year’s Eve, the only place that would take an order and they were spot on with the timing! We arrived early and sushi and a few drinks at the bar and our take out was ready within 3 minutes of our quoted time.
The bartenders were friendly and take out super efficient. They were a well oiled machine for such a busy night!! Food and drinks amazing!!

I went to the Bedford location and the food and service was great. So, I went to the Nashua location and it was a HUGE difference. The girl working the front desk was very busy scrolling on her phone that she didn't seem to notice I was standing in front of her. When I finally got her attention (she stayed on her phone well we talked), I asked a simple question which was if something had sesame in it due to an allergy. Her first responds was she didn’t know. I asked her if she could find out because if it did, I would just order something else. She told me I should just order something else. I asked her if she could ask the kitchen. Her reply was “I guess so.” But didn’t move till I asked her if she could do that before I order. She made a big show that this request was putting her out. (I was the only person at the desk, so I wasn’t taking her away from anything other than her phone). She came back saying she doesn’t think it has sesame in it but couldn’t be sure. I played it safe and order something else. The food was terrible!!!! Everything was covered in lettuce. I understand its used as a garnish but there was so much lettuce in the wonton soups that they were green. The boneless spareribs were mostly fat and there was a creamy gel at the bottom of the container which was also covered in lettuce. The crab rangoons filling tasted sour. The chicken and broccoli was bland. The general taos had more pepper and mushrooms then it did chicken. This was a really bad meal and a waste of $70.

Chicken and broccoli served on Xmas eve was undercooked and pretty much tasteless. Very disappointing after being a satisfied regular customer for years.

Food was pretty good and came out in a reasonable time period. They had vegetarian options for my friend which was awesome. Prices were reasonable and portion size was good.

High quality and well prepared food. Lots of choices and variety. Very good service. A bit pricey but worth it. Really a 4.5

When you call for takeout and they say 15 to 20 minutes, you shouldn’t have to wait 50 minutes. The people at the front desk were rude and didn’t go back and check to see if the orders were ready till I asked three times.

Chen Yang Li is one of my go-to spots, especially for sushi—it’s easily the best quality for the price in the greater Nashua area. The bar can get lively on weekends, with regulars often carrying conversations across the space. As an extrovert, I enjoy the energy, but those seeking a quieter experience may prefer a table or a midweek visit. Service in the dining area is consistently excellent, while bar service can vary—though Erica is always fantastic: attentive, friendly, and a pleasure to chat with.

Our family went for lunch on Sunday mid afternoon,we were the only ones there. Waitress was nice to us but seemed to be in a hurry. The food portions were definitely a lot smaller since we were last there. Some of us commented that when we were done that we were hungry, we used to feel full after eating there.

I have to eat Gluten Free and Dairy Free and I love dining at Chen Yang Li! I am not celiac, I don't know that Chen Yang Li would be considered celiac safe, but I am NCGS and as long as I only order items that they say can be made gluten free, I never have an issue. They do use soy sauce that contains gluten, so only order the items they can make gluten free. For me that tends to be the crispy sesame chicken, the coconut shrimp, and the yang house rice. Which is enough for me! Most of the plates offer a generous amount of food, you won't be hungry.

Fiancé and I agree… this restaurant used to be much better! He ordered the “crispy sesame beef”. Not only was the breading the opposite of crisp but the ‘beef’ inside was fatty and tough. The sauce was like a gelatinous goop. The pork in our daughter’s pork lo mein was tough and un-chewable. My Amazing Chicken entree and our Coconut shrimp appetizer was good though. 🙄

My wife and two kids were kicked out of this restaurant, and I feel it's my duty to let other parents know what they could be walking into.

The entire incident stemmed from a complete lack of professionalism from the man we believe is the owner. From the moment my family walked in, they were met with hostility. A simple misunderstanding about where to stand and wait was met with rude corrections and an aggressive tone.

Instead of de-escalating a situation he created, he chose to humiliate my wife, leading her outside to tell her she wasn't welcome. My family left feeling confused, upset, and embarrassed. This wasn't about a restaurant policy; it was about one man's unacceptable and aggressive behavior towards a mother with her children.

I later discovered countless other reviews describing this same man's conduct. It's clear that this is not a safe or welcoming environment for families. Please learn from our experience and take your business elsewhere.

Food and experience was great, until the waitress chased me and my friends outside questioning us about not leaving a tip on our bill and continuing to question until I gave her a 10 and walked away. Would be all fives without that experience.
