When you call for takeout and they say 15 to 20 minutes, you shouldn’t have to wait 50 minutes. The people at the front desk were rude and didn’t go back and check to see if the orders were ready till I asked three times.

Chen Yang Li is one of my go-to spots, especially for sushi—it’s easily the best quality for the price in the greater Nashua area. The bar can get lively on weekends, with regulars often carrying conversations across the space. As an extrovert, I enjoy the energy, but those seeking a quieter experience may prefer a table or a midweek visit. Service in the dining area is consistently excellent, while bar service can vary—though Erica is always fantastic: attentive, friendly, and a pleasure to chat with.

Our family went for lunch on Sunday mid afternoon,we were the only ones there. Waitress was nice to us but seemed to be in a hurry. The food portions were definitely a lot smaller since we were last there. Some of us commented that when we were done that we were hungry, we used to feel full after eating there.

I have to eat Gluten Free and Dairy Free and I love dining at Chen Yang Li! I am not celiac, I don't know that Chen Yang Li would be considered celiac safe, but I am NCGS and as long as I only order items that they say can be made gluten free, I never have an issue. They do use soy sauce that contains gluten, so only order the items they can make gluten free. For me that tends to be the crispy sesame chicken, the coconut shrimp, and the yang house rice. Which is enough for me! Most of the plates offer a generous amount of food, you won't be hungry.

Fiancé and I agree… this restaurant used to be much better! He ordered the “crispy sesame beef”. Not only was the breading the opposite of crisp but the ‘beef’ inside was fatty and tough. The sauce was like a gelatinous goop. The pork in our daughter’s pork lo mein was tough and un-chewable. My Amazing Chicken entree and our Coconut shrimp appetizer was good though. 🙄

My wife and two kids were kicked out of this restaurant, and I feel it's my duty to let other parents know what they could be walking into.

The entire incident stemmed from a complete lack of professionalism from the man we believe is the owner. From the moment my family walked in, they were met with hostility. A simple misunderstanding about where to stand and wait was met with rude corrections and an aggressive tone.

Instead of de-escalating a situation he created, he chose to humiliate my wife, leading her outside to tell her she wasn't welcome. My family left feeling confused, upset, and embarrassed. This wasn't about a restaurant policy; it was about one man's unacceptable and aggressive behavior towards a mother with her children.

I later discovered countless other reviews describing this same man's conduct. It's clear that this is not a safe or welcoming environment for families. Please learn from our experience and take your business elsewhere.

Food and experience was great, until the waitress chased me and my friends outside questioning us about not leaving a tip on our bill and continuing to question until I gave her a 10 and walked away. Would be all fives without that experience.

Cheng Yang Li have the best shrimp dishes of any Chinese restaurant I’ve ever dined at.

They have great cocktails and they got a pretty lively bar and most of the time the restaurant is pretty packed so that just speaks for itself

I would highly recommend this establishment to anybody that wants fine Chinese food

Believe me when I tell you, you’re gonna enjoy it very much at Chang Yang Li

Food and atmosphere was great until we paid our $162 total and tipped $20 cash. I suppose they were expecting a million dollars for a tip. Jeez food was great but attitude like that in the crazy world we live in is just a bummer. Like take your $20 tip and be greatful. So for that if I could give a negative zero for the end of our service I would

We have only ever done take out here but this has become our new go to spot. Food is good, I especially love the simple wonton soup and family style meals. We try to get a variety of things then share them!

Great spot for Chinese food or drinks! They have a huge bar and plenty of tables/booths. It is more upscale than your traditional Chinese food with white table cloths and fancy glasses. Reasonable prices for food that was really fresh, homemade, came out quickly. We got the sweet tea and the sesame chicken with brocoli and fried rice. The plating was really pretty with a decorative cut up orange and looked delicious. They definitely put care into every dish and it was super flavorful. Great spot to meet up with friends, family or hang at the bar for a drink. They have a huge menu with something for everyone. We dined in for dinner but they also had great lunch specials too. Would definitely recommend!

The restaurant has a very comfortable ambiance, with superior service, a great Mai Tai, and incredible food. The shrimp in Garlic Sauce was as good as I have ever tasted and the Hot and Sour Soup was spicy and loaded with flavor and texture.
