Recently located to Nashua found this hidden gem the best drinks I’ve had in a very longtime. Cannot recommend Codex enough.

I enjoyed CodeX many years ago. This place however, is not it. The menu is very limited, the decor looks cheap and tacky, the place is incredibly small and lacks any of the atmosphere the previous place had, and their drinks were incredibly disappointing. I don't know what kind of syrup they use in their espresso martini, but it tasted bitter, somewhat chemical or artifical, and half the drink was froth. When I asked for one without froth, they just gave me a much smaller drink.

All in all, very disappointing. They're just a dive bar with a fancier facade. I doubt I will return.

I will miss pulling the book to get in, but Codex 2.0 is just as good as the old one. Only downside is that it's a smaller location.

Still great though.

The absolute best environment in all of Nashua one of the best speakeasy’s in the country. The drinks are top notch the bartenders are unrivaled Mary is an absolute wonder. Stretch and Rusty are probably the best bartenders in New England. I cannot say enough positives about this place if you havnt been here yet you are seriously missing out.

Great service from start to finish! We were seated in an awesome spot with a great view of the bar. Drinks were made to perfection. Highly recommend CODE X Bar — 10 out of 10!

We were big fans of the previous CodeX location, were so happy to see it coming back, and were not at all disappointed when we made it out to Main St. We grabbed a few drinks, all of which were not only delicious, but the staff obviously really cared about providing a unique, quality experience with each drink. Also got some dessert, carrot cake which was delicious. Love the atmosphere of this place and its commitment to providing something different and fun in the Nashua area. Please support this bar!!

“A cozy, hush-hush 1920s speakeasy that’s the bee’s knees, the cat’s whiskers, and absolutely loaded with razzmatazz — a real gin-joint gem.”
The cocktails are absolutely top-notch — expertly mixed with creativity and flair. Whether you’re enjoying a classic Sazerac or letting the bartender tailor something just for you, it’s clear that mixology is a focus here. The atmosphere — dim lighting, vintage décor, and comfy seating — makes it a great place for date night or a special gathering with friends.
Even though this spot is known for its cocktails, the food here stands out on its own. Pulled pork dinner with two sides mac and cheese and baked beans! Meatball sub, pulled pork sub, macaroni and cheese charcuterie board, spaghetti and meatballs, hummus board. Shrimp cocktail, cold sesame noodles, hot dogs, chili dogs, chili and one hot soup daily! Follow that with one of these decadent desserts,
Carrot cake
Chocolate mousse cake, Cannolli cake, Flan, Chocolate lava cake!
Service was friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt like stepping into another era. Highly recommend stopping by if you love craft cocktails and adventurous ambiance.
Fun atmosphere, bold flavors, and a menu that makes you want to come back and try everything.
