I walked in for my lunch break, I was interested in purchasing multiple items but the prices for individual items were excessive. I wish my plate would have brought a complimentary salad at least since I did not request beans with my meal. PAY ATTENTION WHEN CASHING OUT, THE CASHIER TRIED TO KEEP MY CHANGE, SHE TOLD ME SHE CHARGED FOR MY DRINK ALREADY AND I HAD TO WAIT FOR HER TO UNDERSTAND I WANT MY CHANGE BACK. PAY ATTENTION TO HOW MUCH THEY’RE CHARGING YOU. NEXT TIME I WILL SPEAK WITH THE OWNER BECAUSE THEIR CASHIER IS A LAMBONAAAAA.

El Típico Restaurant delivers a truly authentic taste of the Dominican Republic. From the moment you walk in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Every dish is bursting with flavor — from the perfectly seasoned pollo guisado and tender pernil to the mouthwatering mangú and crispy tostones.

You can tell the food is made with love and tradition — it’s like eating a home-cooked meal straight from the island. The portions are generous, the presentation is beautiful, and the staff treats you like family.

If you’re craving real Dominican food or just want to experience something amazing, El Típico is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommend!

Easily one of my favorite places to order from for something to eat. The food is purely amazing. The pricing is very good as well. I'm an introvert so I haven't been inside the actual restaurant but maybe one day. I'm sure it's a great place.

El Típico Restaurant is an absolute treasure for anyone craving authentic Dominican and Caribbean flavors in a warm, family-friendly setting. I recently stopped in for lunch, and I was blown away by the quality, portion size, and overall experience.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was welcomed into someone’s home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking time to explain dishes and offer recommendations. The menu has a fantastic selection of Dominican staples, and everything is clearly made with care and love.

I ordered the pernil (roast pork) with rice, beans, and sweet plantains. The pork was incredibly tender and flavorful, with a perfectly crispy edge. The rice and beans were comforting and full of depth, and the plantains added just the right amount of sweetness. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. My friend had the pollo guisado (stewed chicken), and it was equally amazing—rich, savory, and satisfying.

The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and amount of food you get. We also had fresh juice that was refreshing and naturally sweet.

El Típico Restaurant is a place I’ll definitely be coming back to. If you're looking for real, soul-warming food and kind, welcoming service, this spot is a must-visit.

I love the Hispanic culture and used to play Spanish softball in Lawrence, MA. I used to eat at the Tipico there where it first started. Good food, clean and friendly place in Nashua, NH. The prices are reasonable, usually for one dinner, it cost me $10-12.

Yeah they're putting something in their food to make you shit the next morning like diarrhea I'm not eating there again. And I've tried many times same thing. I spent two months in Florida this past winter in Palm Bay I used to go to Thrifty International Foods, what a gold mine to eat at , great Spanish food never had a problem. I live close to the mass Stateline so I go into Fitchburg if I want my Spanish no problem there either.
