As I prepared to pay the check I realized I couldn't wait to come back!
It's been at least 20 years since I was last here for a quick bite and a comedy show. The flatbread appetizer I had that night was memorable but no longer on the menu.
Tonight, with a friend, we got there early and had a great table, able to get all the ambiance. Be sure to ask the history of the place and they will share an excellent, interesting, write up.

We ordered a few apps and 4 entrees. Apps were good and the entrees were ok. The steak tips had a little too much char for being slightly undercooked. Our chicken sandwich was dry. The Truffle Parmigian cheese fries were excellent, as were the poutine fries. The burgers and fish and chips were well served too! We unfortunately had to ask another server to find ours for another round of drinks. Place was moderately busy, but after the nights push.

The service was excellent as usual. We each ordered a cocktail, an app, and an entree. I had the lemon blueberry martini (pro tip, get a salt rim) which was delicious.
