I take my 4 year old here whenever I need an excuse to get ice cream, but I've been a patron since I was about the same age. Homemade ice cream, the best fries in town, always friendly and quick service from the staff regardless of how busy it is. We love Haywards.

I never really stop at ice cream shops, but wanted to give them a chance. I did not regret it lol, especially how big their ice cream scoops were, it took me some time to finish lol, I have to try the other flavors cause so far I only did vanilla (no added sugar one which didnt think ice cream places had that option) and orea. Waffle comb was very yummy as well.
Note: place gets super crowded, with due reason, but they have multiple spots where to pick up so the waits not to bad. Note 2: There is parking, alot, but alot of people come. Note 3: the entrance is tricky, you can easily drive by it.
Will be stopping again soon :D
Stopped again for their tator tots, so worth it, had the pint size, good amount for $7ish

Hate the pistachio flavor. It has a fake color and tastes very bad. Not sure what the hype is about!
I hadn’t been here in a couple years but it’s gone downhill. Portions were much bigger in the past and the ice cream is full of binders. It’s more stretchy than creamy. I guess it’s possible that the person scooping the ice cream got lazy and didn’t give me the right amount, but either way, it was way overpriced for what I got.
