Jake's Old Fashioned Ice Cream & Custom Cakes

Very pretty to look at but just awful to eat. Ate a raw rhubarb strawberry pie. The rhubarb was so hard, totally not cooked at all. A family member keeps buying pies from this place and I just throw them in the trash. The only sort of good one is the chocolate pie. Sorry, I would rather have a pie that actually tastes good than a inedible pretty pie.

We searched all over for a custom rectangular Ice cream cake and Jake’s was the only place that could do it and we were absolutely thrilled with how it came out! The character is from his favorite show and he was so happy. Thank you so much for making our son’s first birthday party just that much more special!

Roni was fantastic to work with and the cake for our son's baptism came our perfectly. Because our guest count had us on the cusp of whether or not there would be enough cake for everyone, Roni brilliantly suggested that we get another small, plain cutting cake just in case we didn't have enough of the display cake. We ended up not needing it, but it eliminated any stress of not having enough and now we have some to freeze and have later! Everyone who had cake said it was delicious and many people asked for the details of where we ordered from. We will definitely be calling Roni again for our next big occasion!

Custom ice cream cake for a 40th birthday party was phenomenal! Less than a weeks notice and we could not have been more thrilled with the result. This was our first Jake’s experience and we will definitely be back for more!

Ordered a custom cake for a baby shower for a very picky crowd. Taking with the baker, she quickly came with a game plan and delivered an ace of a cake! Not only people enjoyed the cake, but they were asking for the contact details for the bakery. I am thoroughly impressed with the service and the quality, they have gained a repeating customer through this experience!

I cannot say enough about these amazing custom cakes. order from Jake's regularly, and the latest was a volcano cake, which is the most amazing cake I've ever seen. I was blown away, as was everyone else who saw it. Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious! We used dry ice for the smoke effect, and Roni worked diligently to make sure this cake was just right. You will be impressed, I promise!

It's been two months since I had one of their ice cream cookie sandwiches (the chocolate cookie one with salted caramel ice cream) at a little farm stand that sold their products and I'm still talking about it. (Update: I found their ice cream and sandwiches being sold at Beaver Valley Farm in Pelham as well, I tried the chocolate cookie mint ice cream sandwich, it was sooooo good!!!)

They were so helpful and accommodating! They gave me exactly what I wanted and the cupcakes were not only yummy but decorated perfectly! I will definitely be using them again and will tell all my friends.

I was looking to get a pineapple cake for my cousin's 30th birthday and boy was this a harder task than I thought with a week's notice in June! I'm new to Nashua and a lot of the bakery's in the area were booked already with weddings and other parties. I called Jake's Ice Cream hesitantly and spoke with Ronni who was super sweet and willing to work with me to create the cake I was looking for. She ended up making the pineapple cake of our dreams including fresh pineapple in the middle w/ homemade whipped cream frosting and topped with fresh maraschino cherries. It was the best cake I've ever had and all the guests at the party absolutely loved it as well. It not only tasted great, but it was really pretty as well with whipped cream rosettes, and a fancy yellow and red fondant piece on top to hold the writing; all surrounded by cherries!I could tell Ronni really cares about the cakes she puts out because she was concerned about this cake holding up with the late June heat, delicate whipped cream frosting, and I needed it for a Sunday evening party but had to pick it up the day before. She told me to make sure it was kept in the fridge until shortly before serving, and we were able to keep the cake beautiful until it was needed. I also felt it was a decent price for what we got. I wish I got a picture to include to show you this amazing dessert, but alas, I did not think of it! Anyway, thank you for the amazing cake! I will be coming back for more!

I purchased my daughters birthday cake from Jakes and it was the best. She made a gluten free unicorn cake and it was perfect! I couldn’t ask for a better cake.
