Favorite breakfast spot. But at times, the food isn't the best. ( different cook maybe?) During those times?

Joanne’s Kitchen is one of those classic hometown diners that instantly makes you feel welcome. Located in a quiet corner of town, it’s the kind of place where locals gather, and you can count on a hearty, satisfying meal served with a smile.

I came in for breakfast on a weekday morning, and the place was already buzzing with regulars. The vibe is cozy, no-frills, and comfortable—like stepping into your grandmother’s kitchen. The service was fast and friendly, and the waitress made me feel like part of the family.

I ordered the breakfast special with eggs, bacon, home fries, and pancakes. Everything was cooked perfectly—eggs just the way I asked, crispy bacon, and golden home fries with just the right seasoning. But the real surprise was the pancakes: light, fluffy, and delicious. Easily some of the best I’ve had in the area.

The coffee kept coming, hot and fresh, and it really completed the experience. Prices are extremely reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes and quality.

Joanne’s Kitchen may not be flashy, but it doesn’t need to be. It delivers exactly what you want from a local diner—good food, great service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

Service was a little bit slower than most places. It CAN get EXTREMELY BUSY on the weekends. So I suggest either going very early or later, more towards noon time. Specially once the Churches let out on Sundays. Ive seen the line have a 2 hr wait!! Food is WELL WORTH IT!! And the food to $ ratio is worth it as well. U get plenty of food and the prices are very low Specially how expensive it is to eat out at most places these days. Super low prices. And u may need to either park at the City Hall or the Parking Garage(FREE on weekends) as theirs limited parking on Main St. You can also find a spot at the bank parking lot just 2 businesses down. The first 2 are located on the street behind this business and both a very short walk away. But to close, one of my top favorites ever!!

Plastic utensils put on top of food in Togo boxes, flies found in food. Huge sanitation concern. Extremely rude and poor customer service when addressed.

I was born and raised in Nashua been there been gone a while now I'm back to stay and I used to come to this place since I was a little boy and I'm 59 I love the idea of the restaurant/Diner I should say but I'm disappointed and how Nash was becoming they might as well change the name to Bagel alley I'm not talking crap It's just sad it's just not the same anymore

I gave this 5 stars because this is exactly what I want in a diner! Booths and counter service, your basic diner menu with reasonable prices, everything clean and tidy. It's obviously popular with locals, as the server knew everyone but me.

It's very narrow, stuck between two bigger buildings, which adds to its charm for me. There's plenty of on street parking (paid, but not expensive) right in front.

The service was quick and friendly, and I got exactly what I wanted - a breakfast sandwich with egg over hard, with sausage and cheese on a toasted bagel.

It's amazing how many more expensive places can't manage an over-hard egg, or can't be bothered to toast my bagel.

The server was quick to refill my ice tea, and quick with my check, both of which I appreciate.

If you're looking for a quick, friendly place to get good, basic food, this is it.

It didn't smell great, and we sat ourselves at the least dirty booth. We asked the waitress to wipe the table, she picked the old food off the table with her nails and threw it on the floor. Ok. A Lil gross. No biggy. We order. My girl's English muff on her eggs Benny was soaking wet, and the hair in my food set me over the edge. We paid and left. Don't recommend.

Well been here many times and it has been always really good. Today was a little different. 2/16/25. They were slow and had a lot of homeless people there which is great, but they are yelling across the diner and the waitress is doing the same. Then she sits down when nothing is going on which is fine. But the menus don't look like they have been washed in months.!😔

Joanne’s Kitchen on Main Street Nashua is a hidden masterpiece. I’m telling you, the cheapest and best omelettes, home fries, pancakes and all fresh milkshake I’ve ever had!!! This little mom and pop diner has become mine and my families absolutely favorite spot. Please go to Joanne’s.

Highly recommend. If you are looking for an old school diner that serves fresh, quality food. This is the spot. I have been coming here since I was a toddler. Now, I bring my kids here every chance I get. Joanne’s reminds me of how simplicity can go a long way.

This place may not look like much, but the food and service was fantastic! My mushroom burger and my wife's Reuben were great! The fries and onion rings were crisp and tasty. I had a special cotton candy milkshake and it was one of the best (and most interesting) shake's I've ever had!

I went there for breakfast and it took 45 minutes for a party ordered ahead of us to get their food. We left and ended up paying only for our coffee
