Great place to eat with the family. The service is excellent. Very friendly and polite, the food is really good, overall great and very very attentive. Place is very clean even the restrooms are very clean!! Will definitely come back with the family if I’m in the area!! Lunch for 5, 2 were children.Parking: Plenty of parking in front of the building.Kid-friendliness: Staff friendly with the kids, high chairs for the kids, foam cups with the lid for the kids!

This place is absolutely terrible. I ordered $100 worth of food and only received 3/4 of it. What I did receive was incorrect and when I called to get the food that was missing/ incorrect the “general manager” basically told me “ oh well” and implied that I was lying about the discrepancies saying she “packed the bags herself”. Never ordering from here again and I sure hope you don’t either. Save your money or order anywhere else!

Food was served hot, was delicious, and plentiful. Service was quick and very courteous. Pricing is very reasonable. Menu is huge with many Mexican favorites listed, also a separate menu for specials. Restaurant is not huge but a good size and was very clean. Many booths and some tables, we had a booth and we were very comfortable. Free chips and salsa, chips were served warm and salsa was fresh and tasty. We did not have any alcohol so I can not speak to the margaritas, however the selection was plenty. All in all we had a very good first time experience at La Carreta.

Having spent a lot of time in CA, AZ, and TX, we learned what good, authentic Mexican food should be. Living on the East Coast, however, it can be a little hit or miss.La Carreta was a nice surprise!The food is yummy, and the service is great! We have been here twice and have enjoyed it both times.The queso fundido with chorizo is tasty! My husband thoroughly enjoys their chile relleno. The chicken enchiladas are good, too. The mole' sauce doesn't have the rich depth of flavor I would prefer, but it's still a solid choice.One of our favorite things on the menu is the tiered margarita -- pick your tequila, add a grand marnier floater, and have a yummy cocktail. Great way to offer options!Overall, this busy restaurant will stay on our "must go" list whenever we are in the area. One thing... each time we arrived before 5:30 and were seated immediately. One visit was on a Saturday, and by the time we left, they had quite a queue waiting for a table. Timing can be everything.!

Okay I need to speak up. “Many vegetarian options” is bull. Even if you try to build a vegetarian option out of the combination menu they slap you with extra charges for each vegetarian choice. I have been coming here for about 20 years and I am fed up. There is no reason a bean burrito needs to cost $2 more than a chicken or beef burrito.Vegetarian options: There is a surcharge to choose vegetarian options in the combination menu. Bean burritos do not cost more to make than a meat burrito!
