I had been jonesing for Chinese, so I popped into Lilac Blossom tonight. I ordered beef teriyaki and crab rangoons for apps. The rangoons were not even barely warm. The beef was good. I then ordered a spicy shrimp and walnuts off the specials menu. Once again the temp on the food was room temp!! If I order items that are deep fried I expect that they would be hot when served! Very disappointing Lilac Blossom!

We have been getting takeout from Lilac for 10 years and I think we are all done. We ordered $80 worth of food and got no white rice. The website does not say there is none or provide a way to order it online. Just completely absurd to not provide white rice for entrees.

Server was prompt, kind, and thorough. Food was tasty but unfortunately was cold when it should've been hot. From the soup to the entrees. My dining companion ended up not being able to eat anything.

We used to really like Lilac Blossom, but their standards have gone way down. The food is pretty mediocre now, and so is the service.We had 4pm reservations, and we were the only customers who had a table. It took 15 minutes for a waiter to come over and take our drink order. We asked for water and a pot of tea. We were told that they don’t have tea pots. Huh? They did the last time I was there.The atmosphere was non-existent. They had some radio station playing with a lot of commercials on speakers that were rattling and distorted. It was way too loud, and the music selection was pretty terrible. I would have preferred elevator music.It’s rather sad to see this restaurant sink so low. This will unfortunately be the last meal I have there.

I ordered the Sizzlin Seafood Delight by takeout. The food was excellent. Problems: there were only 4 shrimp and 3 smallish scallops and A LOT OF VEGGIES, for about $30 (with tax). That's like $4 for one shrimp or one scallop. So, they either need to pack more meat in the dish or drop the price.

Food is pretty good. Service can be hit or miss. I'd give it three and a half if I could. Tonight the service is just a mess. Really like the crabrangoon, pork fried rice, Mongolian beef, chicken with asparagus in garlic sauce, hot and sour soup.

So I just got home with my take out order and realized that the most expensive chinese restaurant in Nashua no longer gives white rice with their house special dishes. Just spent 50.00 dollars on 2 house special dishes and found out the hard way that I needed to pay 1.00 more to get white rice with those entrees. Here's a suggestion, skip the fried wanton chips that go directly in the trash and include the rice that actually complete the entree. Nickel and dime much? I hope they don't start charging extra for napkins next...

Imagine my surprise last weekend when, upon opening my takeout bag and finding no trace of rice, I called up the front desk to be told that as of a few weeks ago white rice now costs extra and that the main dishes come with no rice. After 5 years of exorbitant price increase and a steady decline in quality, this blatant cash grab is the final straw for me. This is akin to a fast food restaurant charging you extra for the bun on a hamburger. I will never be frequenting this sad excuse for a chinese restaurant again and the miserliness of the owner will be made known far and wide.

As we were finally seated after waiting 30 minutes we waited another 20 for a server to come over and grab our drink orders and as we are waiting for our drinks we hear another table ask for the manager because all of their food came out cold. Manager was extremely rude and unwilling to remake or heat up their food so we were skeptical to stay after that then when our drinks didn't come out after waiting another 15 mins we decided to leave. Would not recommend this place.
