I always enjoy my meal at Not Your Average Joes. The menu changes with the seasons so we can enjoy different appetizing meals each time we go. The waitstaff does not hover but is very good about refreshing drinks etc on a timely basis. We always enjoy the bread/oil at the beginning of the meal-one of my favorites.

Excellent service. Very good food and value. This is the second time we visited this location and both times we were very pleased. We will definitely visit again!

The Greek wedge salad wasn't good. The lettuce was wet, as though someone washed it but didn't spin it dry. This made for a soggy salad with watered down dressing. I ordered grilled chicken with it which was over cooked.

This was an update of my previous review. There has been such an improvement from the last year that I have to give credit and revise that review from three stars to five stars. The hospitality was great on entry. Nicole went out of her way to get me seated, though this was not her primary job. Service was prompt and efficient. And I got to say, the flavor of my go to dish, the Cajun rice jambalaya, is super. The ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Highly recommend. Thanks!

Not Your Average Joe’s absolutely lived up to the name—we went all in and have zero regrets. We started with the steak and cheese egg rolls (yes, they are as good as they sound), then ordered the Chicken Parmesan, Korean Beef & Noodle Bowl, Teriyaki Glazed Salmon, Sweet & Sour Chicken, and the Twisted Mac & Cheese with BBQ pulled pork. Yes… we sampled everything. Yes… everything was delicious.

And because moderation clearly wasn’t on the menu, we finished with desserts: the Molten Lava Cake for two (which we probably didn’t need but 100% wanted), the Peanut Butter Thing, and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Explosion.

Every bite was worth it. Come hungry. Leave happy. And maybe bring stretchy pants.

I really liked this place for their great beers and freshly made food. The olive oil and cheese combination with the bread was amazing. Highly recommended place to hangout in southern Nashua!

We had a great time at dinner. Our waiter Nick was fantastic. He was engaging and very accommodating and just an overall wonderful server. We will go back as for sure ask for Nick to wait on us. Great time.

I ordered takeout and was very clear with the person on the phone about how I wanted my burger: medium rare with blue cheese, bacon, and the sauce they offer — on the burger, not the side. I even repeated it to make sure there was no confusion. I got home only to find a completely plain burger with nothing on it except the sauce — and that was on the side. No blue cheese, no bacon, the only two things I requested on a burger aside from their secret sauce. Disappointing, especially when you’re looking forward to a solid takeout meal. Attention to detail is important.

Nice selection of food. Everyone's meal was great I'd go again. I had the sweet and sour chicken bowl - it was fresh and fabulous! My husband's chicken picatta was great too!

Basic beer selection with about 50 percent local drafts to 50 percent standard beers. Confirmed with the bartender, Jenn, that everything is scratch made. I was in town from Austin visiting family looking for an upscale/decent restaurant open on Tuesdays for lunch in Nashua. Not many options but this place popped up. First beer I had was 603 IPA which is a light hazy with citrus forward flavor. (Jenn let me sample 603 IPA and Rockpile IPA.) I went 603 first then Rockpile second. Rockpile is more of a classic malty West Coast style. I ordered the burger med rare with bacon and blue cheese (great pairing). They didn't go to heavy on the blue cheese and the burger flavors stayed balanced. 8 ounce patty which in my opinion is the correct size. Good seasoning and definitely char grilled. Fries were on point, especially as the burger juice dripped on them as I ate. Overall solid burger here.

Mustard crusted chicken was EXCELLENT. BBQ margarita was insanely good. That bacon....

Juliana, the server, was very attentive and offered to refill our beverages several times. She gave us plenty of time to review the menus and make decisions about dessert without rushing us.

We had a large group of family (10). Service was quick and efficient without being in the way. Food all came out together and was hot and tasty. Everyone left happy and satisfied.

I had Jenna as a server, just really bad vibes the entire meal. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was one of the managers. Very rushed while eating yet waited 40 minutes just to get our dinner

NYAJ is on our regular rotation. We have some go to options and the seasonal menu updates keep things fresh.

The menu has small bite and salad options as well as hearty sandwiches and entree options. So you can go to have drinks and apps, lunch or an interesting dinner.

The complementary focaccia bread service is a nice touch. The bar service is great we pretty much always eat at the bar. Only occasionally have had dessert, usually when it's one of the seasonal specials.

Definitely give it a try, and it might land on your go to list.
