What an amazing find on my quick vacation to the East Coast. Kava selection was on the smaller side, but the quality was really high and their tea was pressed really well with perfect strength for what they charge. Decor was nice without being cheesy or contrived. Hospitality and service were outstanding and Dan was an incredible host. I would give 6 stars if I could.

This is my first google review but i’m glad to say it’s for root awakening in nashua nh! First the not so great….. On friday jan 26 my boyfriend and i attempted to stop in around 8:30 pm but we ended up leaving because we were never acknowledged. The guy behind the bar made eye contact but looked like he had better places to be or things to do. We heard such great things and were in NH just for 15 days from missouri visiting family.We decided to come Thursday night feb 1st before our flight home friday and we’re so so so SO glad we did!!!! The woman stacy (sp?) explained kava to us and was extremely excited for us which in turn made us excited. We were given samples of kava and local kombucha before trying our kava drinks. She spoke highly of the owner and made our first experience leaving us wanting more because we trust people who have passion for both their business and product. We were there for a couple of hours and watched people come and go and some even sit there for hours proving this place is a safe space and home for many. Stacy took care of each one like family and knew their orders before they even sat down! It was really busy but she never missed a beat and we never felt ignored. We will be moving to new england in the next year or so and this (along with their new worcester ma location) will be our hang out spot!! The drinks are tasty and if there’s something you don’t see on the menu they can create something based on what they have in stock and what flavors you usually preferThe place is pretty big and has couches, tables and room to do laptop work all around. The bar is a great size and everyone is really friendly. We already told our friends who live in the area to check it out!Thank you for letting us be part of the kava community!Dietary restrictions: Lots of dairy free options if not all dairy free when you opt out of whipped creamParking: Easy private parking lot. Hollistics don’t usually work on me unless they are of the utmost potency and quality. I drove an hour and a half away to try this. After several times I’ve tried kava and failed, my stop here was the one that changed everything. EXCELLENT customer service. Johnny took care of me and my wife, made sure to explain EVERY detail. I WILL be coming back to try to play with my band, and I’m stoked to hear they are opening one in worcester. Please check this place out!

Came here on a Sunday night looking for something to do as my girlfriend is trying to stay away from the bar scene. as soon as we walked in the atmosphere was warm and inviting. the woman behind the bar, Stacy, was extremely welcoming and genuinely excited to be our guide on our first kava journey. we played chess and enjoyed our time not being at a traditional bar. we were a little confused with what was going on at the next table with other patrons but after a few kava mocktails we were in our own world of relaxation. Stacy gave us samples of kava before we decided on drinks which really made us feel welcome and not rushed or forced. we also really enjoyed the chocolate chip protein balls that another patron let us try! everyone here is really open and treats you like family. we were given a list of events happening so we will be back soon!

I had a great time at the Bar! I need a night from time to time to get out and relax from the stress of life. Root Awakening is a great place for winding down. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable. He can guide you through your first kava experience. I felt like I found a hidden gem in Nashua and can't wait to go back!
