We had an impromptu “rehearsal dinner” here with about 15 people. The staff was so helpful and patient with our group! The drinks were fantastic and the food was tasty too.

My first time there , I found the atmosphere to be welcoming. Once I received my order of smoked chicken wings , I was not pleased at how dark they were . Once I tasted it , it was seasoned and tasty . (But) Parts of the chicken wings were not digestive . I will never recommend the food . I was vomiting all I had eating there . I will visit again , when certain events are presented , but the food , I can't recommend it !!!

First time to visit and was very happy. They put on a great Thanksgiving dinner or you could choose from the regular menu. It was so nice to find a place open and our server was fantastic. She really made the day special. If this is how they do business on a holiday I'm sure a regular weekday is just as good. Wish I lived closer, I'd visit more often.

Upscale in appearance, but family friendly prices. The food and drinks were great and the service was superb. The restaurant is beautiful. I think better marketing could pack this place.

I’ve been a Shade patron since its opening and have followed various changes to the operation. This review reflects my current experience. The regular menu food is surprisingly good for a hotel bar, and weekday Happy Hour food is free with purchase of a drink, even a non-alcoholic drink. Beer, cocktails, and wine are offered at reduced prices from 4:30 to 6:30. Happy Hour food is different each day, but Tuesday carved prime rib and Friday ribs, wings, chili, and corn muffins are great bargains. Friendly, efficient wait staff makes patrons feel welcome. Bartender Brian has a well-earned loyal following. He’s a major attraction for locals. I’d give Shade another star if management could address these important issues: 1.\tNoise. The room has many reflective surfaces and needs major acoustic dampening. Whenever there’s a medium or large group, especially at the back of the room, the noise can be deafening to the point that it’s difficult to carry on a conversation with fellow bar patrons. This problem could be easily fixed for less than 1K. What’s the holdup? Can’t the Radisson afford this tiny investment for such a major improvement? I’ve heard innumerable complaints from fellow patrons about the noise level. 2.\tLighting. Lighting should be “ambiance level” from late afternoon to closing. That means dimmer than local fast food places or last call. Credit to bartender Brian for addressing this issue when he’s working. Please have other staff follow his example. Road warriors like to walk into a bar with relaxing ambiance after a hard day on the road. And so do locals after a hard day work. I think these improvements could make Shade a much more attractive place for both road warriors and locals.

The restaurant was quiet and very clean. The service we had so so unbelievably slow, but they did feed the children quicker than the rest of us.

I was there for meetings, and had dinner and breakfast here. A breakfast buffet was offered on the weekend. The food was good, and the staff friendly and competent. It's a small restaurant which also contains the (equally small) bar.

We were staying at the hotel where this establishment is located and decided to have a light lunch (some comfort food) prior to attending a wedding, which was in the same hotel. The restaurant wasn't busy during the time we visited - about 1pm. It was clean and quiet with their TV's in closed caption mode. We were greeted promptly and served in a timely manner. Our orders of Hot Wings and Ultimate Nachos were tasty and what we expected. The portion of Nachos was quite large, allowing us to have a second snack the following day. Although it may have cost a few dollars more than other restaurants with similar food, the fact that we didn't have to get into the car to get something good to eat (we were traveling the last day and a half) was well worth it for us. Even if you're not staying at the hotel, this is a nice place to dine if you're in the area.

Don't order a beer without asking the price first. They don't print the prices on the menu and then charge you $11 per beer on the bill. The food is barely adequate. The fish n chips were served with wine vinegar and mayonnaise. The desserts would have been better if they had picked them up at the local supermarket. Even if you are staying at the hotel, and just want a quick bite, go somewhere else... they are taking advantage of the fact they have a captive audience of hotel guests.

the menu is well rounded, i had a hard time deciding because so many things looks good. I choose the marinated steak tips with a greek flair. They were unreal! The combination of the marinade, feta and mushroom were unbelievable. The resturant and hotel are georgous. Sarah at the bar was personable and welcoming. If you are in the area give this place a try!!

I forgot my waitress' name, but 'A.Snider' was exceptional a couple nights ago in making my visit to the Shade Bar and Grill a perfect place to finish my evening. Didn't have to raise my hand to find her - she checked up on me throughout to ensure that my experience was a complete one. Grade A+

We were staying at the Radisson hotel and were given two free meal tickets due to lack of cleanliness in the hotel so we decided to try out the restaurant. Everyone was very friendly however neither one of our waitresses were sure of drinks that they had available at the bar which was about 5 feet from our table and would not go to the bar to ask about the drinks they just kept saying no and spoke very little English. The drinks were not very hard it was a daiquiri that we were asking about. We both ordered a dinner and my husband got the baked cod and that was fine and I got the mac & cheese with blackened shrimp. The shrimp were very rubbery and the mac & cheese was liquid. We did order dessert which was the chocolate cake I asked about the picture that was shown in the menu if that was the chocolate cake and again the waitress just kept saying no no just picture. We still ordered the chocolate cake and it was it was decent. It was your average price restaurant hotel, it was a little bit more. Honestly, if we didn't have the vouchers we wouldn't of went there we would've went to downtown Nashua and got a better meal.
