"Yikes" read the sign.tonight: "Last weekend of the summer Don't miss it" I just had a lovely dinner up the road at a similarly old-fashioned restaurant The Lobster Boat seafood. So, it isn't like New Hampshire can't make good food. It's just this particular place had some of the worst soft serve I've had on a long time... No excuse for soft serve ice cream place to serve a watery, not rich product. On top of this I purchased a small side of hot fudge to take home with a large ice milk.. The hot fudge tasted like slightly thickened Hershey's syrup,,,, There's simply no excuse for this poor quality stuff. Credit where credit is due though it's a Cute old-fashioned roadside ice cream stand location and very nice school kids working there... But please, up your game or shut it down...

The perfect name for a cool little ice cream place!! I love The Big 1!! Fantastic variety, decent prices, always friendly and helpful people working there. They have great flavors and yummy hot dogs. "The Big 1" size it crazy huge!! It's a cash only establishment so be prepared! It's worth it though!! Yum!!!

We drive 30 minutes for their ice cream. That should say enough. Asked them to install real time cameras so we can see how long the lines are before we start our journey :).
