Great coffee and atmosphere. Great for kids!
It took exactly 23 minutes from when my order for 4 plain bagels to go was printed on the receipt to when it was delivered to me. It took almost longer to make the receipt describing 4 individual bagels than it would have taken to just have the cashier pull them! They made we wait behind every prepared order in front of me, which I felt is poor service.

Life is too short to wait over 35 minutes after ordering for meh coffee, pastries, etc.

I ordered a 24-oz decaf iced latte, and my drink was pure milk, and you could taste no espresso or the maple syrup I was charged extra for. It was so pale and only got a hint stronger when the coffee ice cubes started to melt. I also ordered the gluten-free maple walnut muffin, and it must have been a few days old because it was so dense and dry, and was loaded with walnuts and little to no actual muffin. I also ordered the gluten-free spinach and feta handheld pastry, and that was also incredibly dull and dry. All of this for $20! With a 4.7 rating, I was hopeful that it would have been a good experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I would not recommend going here.

30 Dollars for two coffees and 2 stale bagels with a quarter teaspoon of cream cheese on them. If you want a normal amount of cream cheese they will charge you a few extra dollars. It is absolutely insane they have the audacity to charge for “extra” cream cheese. One small cup of cream cheese from Dunkin’ Donuts (which is very tiny) is more than what they give you here even when you ask for extra. They also enjoy printing out these reviews and putting them on the wall. Weird flex, but your food, coffee and service still sucks. Take your business elsewhere.
Owner is excellent. Everything is extremely tasty. Little shop sells local goods that are pretty reasonably priced. 😎

Great place for breakfast whether you want bagels, muffins, sandwiches or pastry. Lots of selections for drinks even if you are not a coffee drinker. If you are great coffee selection.
I stopped by Grounds a few times while staying in New London. It has a relaxed and rather quaint atmosphere—a typical college town coffee shop—and serves reasonably priced coffees, including espresso drinks, and light breakfast. I had a great bagel, which was delicious, and a very good latte, perhaps the best I had in New London. The only negative was that the service was a bit mixed: my experience with one person was fantastic and welcoming; another was quite unfriendly to the point of making me not feel valued as a customer.

The latte had no flavor and tasted like water and in general the products seemed overpriced.
