Bubba's Bar & Grille

My wife and I were just passing by on a bike ride and came across this place. We were seated quick, her Buffalo chicken tenders were very tasty. My Bubba burger was good but my onion rings were way over fried.

Loved the fish sandwich, lobster roll and seafood chowder. The view of Sunapee lake right across the street. Definitely recommend giving this place a try!

$80 plus tip of $10 for 4 burgers and fries. Yikes. Fries were ok but the burgers left a lot to be desired. No bacon on them either. I guess you have to ask and pay extra for that too. For $80 please step up what you give to customers. Could have gotten more for less elsewhere. I think you should give customers better for the prices you charge.

Great staff, my wife and I like to split one meal, everything came out on two separate plates, really appreciate all their work to make our meals enjoyable

Went here for the first time with my husband 8/16/25 thinking we'd try something new vs going to our regular places. We went around 4, got in super quick with no wait. Got our drinks right away, and put in our order. As we're waiting for our food to come out I was watching the kitchen, as one may with a perfect view of it. Thought it was strange that the older gentleman with white/gray hair was touching bacon with his bare hands on the plate ready to go out. My husband said looks like he may be just adjusting food and I'm sure he has clean hands. Food came out, was focused on that until I saw the older gentleman eating in the kitchen using his fingers. He was still helping with the food at this time. I could not stop staring at him amazed that he is still eating, even while waitresses were coming up and picking up plates for tables. Now by time I sign the receipt the other cook (guy with ponytail) is now also eating over the food they are cooking. 🤢I was going to ask for a manager but decided not to as its all teens running around. All I can do is just spread the word that my $70 meal (entrees and soda) was not worth it, and they need a health inspection. Also I never leave reviews, but this is gross. Also this place plays there music way to loud.

Dined with husband and 3 friends Saturday Aug 16. My crab cakes were overcooked, seafood chowder was very salty and the ingredients unidentifiable. My friends had the reuben which was full of gristle. When brought to the attention of the server, her reply was I didn't cook it.i work in a busy restaurant on the coast and this experience was just plain wrong.

My girlfriend and I and some Friends decided to have dinner here at bubba's. We decided to decided to split a Reuben sandwich with onion rings and a salad. When bit into our sandwich the meat was full of Gristle, we couldn't even chew it. When we brought it to the waitresses attention she said she wasn't the cook sorry. She made no effort remake the sandwich or have the sandwich removed from the bill.
My friends had a bad experience also they had the crab cakes that were burnt, cold and the seafood chowder was so salty she couldn't eat it. So I would not recommend this restaurant at all they're expensive and the food really stinks. Bubba you should stick to piźza.

I visited Bubba’s with a couple of friends tonight. We were greeted by a waitress proclaiming “The AC is on. Either step outside or come in and close the door!” It was very crowded with no room to step in. Interesting to be welcomed by being told to leave. The hostess and a waitress bickered about “slamming” the stapler while we waited to be seated. When we were seated we were less than delighted to learn that the disgruntled waitress obsessed with the AC was to be ours. The service was far less than friendly. Rochelle T… now infamous in our tiny circle. Though she did stop by to inquire as to how our food was, it seemed forced and obligatory. In an attempt to garner something other than disdain, I mentioned that the chicken piccata was great, made obvious by my clear plate, only to be met with pursed lips and an eye roll. The $33 lobster roll was dry and left much to be desired. I felt badly for my friend having made a disastrous menu choice. We felt less like paying guests and more like an imposition. Service with a grimace would have been preferable. At least the view was pleasant.

Ruben sandwich was so so, corned beef cut too thick and a bit dry. Sunapee spinach salad was huge and delicious!
Only downside, the men’s bathroom needed a good clean!!!

I have been eating here for many years and I can say that the food quality and taste remained wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. When it's very busy, the wait time is reasonable and not a huge deal. My only concern is that, the price has increased significantly which is understandable giving the price of goods (inflation) but the portion size has also decreased. How do you justify and or explain price increased but decreased serving size. Overall wonderful place to eat.
