You gotta get a waffle during your ski trip! I suggest one with chocolate but it's super messy so buyer beware. Skip the chocolate if you don't have napkins. The prices are better here for drinks like coffee and tea then in the lodge if you want to save a few bucks

They take cash or credit $6 for a waffle. Friendly staff and delicious offerings.

I'm not giving it a bad review, it's just that there was nobody there! The ski area and everything with it is currently closed for the season.

Last minute decision to stop and ski for the day and what a treat! Wednesday tickets were half off. Everyone we talked to was incredibly nice. My five year old daughter did the Mother Goose program and the daycare workers were amazing. My daughter then took a ski lesson led by Ms. Michelle who my daughter LOVED. Daughters words "Ski teaching is Miss Michelle's destiny because she is SO good at it." Sunapee will now be a regular stop for us when in the Boston area. Oh - and the skiing was great too! Such a chill, happy, family place.

Sunapee I will miss you. at 104 for a ticket I will drive to Killington, Cannon, and well basically anywhere else. I am very much looking forward to what happens once these corporations have to run these resorts for the profits they expect. We will see a huge correction similar to when American Skiing went down.

The mountain is wonderful, but Tami at guest services delayed our ability to get on the slopes in a timely manner. She was rude and abrasive to everyone in line, as we witnessed multiple interactions prior to ours. She seemed to be bothered by having to do her job and made multiple mistakes during our prolonged and dramatic interaction. Everyone else was lovely and helpful.

This was my very first time down hill skiing on the east coast! I was injured halfway through the day and ski patrol was simply AMAZING. Their customer service was impeccable!! Less than 5 minutes after I was injured, ski patrol showed up with their toboggan to take me down to the infirmary. They were very gentle and patient throughout the whole process and made me feel very comfortable. At the first aid zone, the EMT was incredibly gentle and helpful. He made me a DIY splint for my knee and even gave me crutches to take home with me. The food at the top of the lodge was also very affordable! Most things were less than 10$ and I loved the unlimited condiments they provided for hot dogs and cheeseburgers. I was not used to the terrain because it is quite a bit icier and flatter than the west coast. However my local friend said that Sunapee grooms really well which was nice. The only con I would say is that the map is a bit confusing and we got lost on the trails for a bit. Otherwise great experience and worth coming back!

This was my first time here. While the staff members were nice, the whole trip is extremely disorganized and disappointing. We arrived at 10:00, planning to do a half day of Skiing, they close at 4, but you can start at noon and book a half day for about $45, then with rentals another $40, so you can ski for about $25 per hour. So first we had to get in line to purchase our pass, 3 tellers and a huge line of people, this took about 30 minutes. Then we had to rent equipment, this took 2 and a half hours! Not kidding. Every area seems to be poorly managed. The line was out the door and it wasn't exactly warm just standing outside in the cold. Then you register on a computer, then you wait to try on books, then you "pay". I'm not sure where the problem is, it seems that they cannot process people who are paying fast enough as this seems to be a big bottle neck area. But come on, we spent 3 hours getting ready to ski. It was really upsetting. Some of my friends did the full day but they didn't start skiing until almost 12, so they paid for a full day but were only able to actually ski a half day. It's hard to see all these people standing around but like only a few people are working which seems to be causing the bottleneck. So finally get to ski, some of us were new so we went to the bunny-slope area. So while you are learning, as you get to the bottom of the hill you are met with a 8-10 foot ditch if you go to far, but don't worry because as you race down the hill, the bottom of the ski area is where a huge line of people learning and children classes are, so there is literally no way to avoid these people, maybe they can stop you from falling into the ditch. I would say if you are coming to learn, move along, this was the worst environment to learn in. When you leave you also have to wait inline again while they scan your rentals, are you kidding me? That took another 30 minutes, they are extremely slow and poorly managed here. Last peeve, literally no cell service anywhere, while this might not be the area's problem, they could put in some wifi at the locations so you could meet up with your friends to plan lunch or drinks. They do have wifi, but it does not work. Just really hard to plan anything, especially if you are in a group like we were. I will not be back to this location.

The staff was not equipped at all to handle the holiday weekend crowd - especially for the ski rentals. Also you should not have to wait in line for 2 hours to rent your skis only to be told you have to go to a different line to get your lift ticket. Not a fun time.
