We had a long wait, but it was UNH Family Weekend, so that was to be expected. It was a lively day, and a sweet little town to explore while waiting. Staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and kept things moving. Between us we enjoyed the french toast (HUGE), a breakfast quesadilla (different and yum!), eggs Benedict (one of their many variations on this classic), cheese quesadilla, bacon, cappuccino, tea, mocktail and smoothie. All was delicious and thoroughly enjoyed! I will say one of our four meals came out a bit cold, but we didn’t address it with the staff as we were super hungry at that point and didn’t want to wait for a new meal to come out. If I could rate a 4.5 for this I would, but since we were otherwise delighted with our experience there, I’ve given it 5 stars. We will absolutely eat here again!
The caiman Benedict was very good

I’m not real big on reviews. Being in business myself the inaccuracy of some of them are comical. The Big Bean is a Big Deal. Had an amazing lunch with my wife in Newmarket. Made from scratch food. Excellent. The greeting and service Excellent. See you soon Christine!!

Food was decent but male host on Sunday was so rude to my husband! My husband said, “hi we are needing to be seated please.” And he said “yeah” (long pause) then just stared and kind of shrugged his shoulders. Like we were inconveniencing him. We were there 2 weeks ago and the waitress could not have been nicer. Will make me think twice before coming back.

I usually really like the big bean but my most recent order was a door dash of pancakes, they had remnants of veggies at the bottom stuck to both pancakes… hoping they do clean the grill.. I called to let them know about the veggies so the next customer doesn’t get the same surprise of old veggies and they didn’t offer a refund or seem to care. Just thought it was a little unclean to find veggies in a pancake

The extensive menu has a ton of things that sound delicious, and the location in downtown is quaint. The hash and the sauce that came on top of it were way too rich to finish, though, and I don't recommend sitting outside if you expect a lot of motorcycles to drive by.

Love this place but what's breakfast without orange juice. Please bring the orange juice back. Need my vitamin c with my breakfast of champions.

Burger wasn’t that good. Would have been ok with that until they charged me for the mayonnaise as a condiment. They told me I can get a side of fruit that comes with the burger but ended up charging $4 for it. Will never go back to any of their restaurants. Poor business decisions
Great service, super delicious food. We popped on around 12:30 on Father’s Day, got sited right away and was treated to an absolute great experience and meal. Thanks to the staff for their attention to detail and overall great experience. Gotta have to check the Exeter location next!!!
Waited and hour and a half for two breakfast sandwiches. Paid $25 for said sandwiches which were cold.
really lazy staff
very slow bad service
food is decent
always try to order as takeout but the kids who work there dont pick up the phone
My go to for breakfast. Hands down the best breakfast around with the best staff ever
