I love this place. Their wonton soup is excellent along with all of their main dishes. My husband loves the Szechuan Lo mein and the house special Lo mein.

We are in the Newport NH for the summer and we are looking for restaurant to try. Every time we try a new Chinese place, we always go with the General Tso's, it's our go to, if the General Tso's is good, we go back and try other items. It was OK, that's all. Since then, we tried another one, in the same area, let's just say, we won't be back to this one.

Friendly, efficient, better texture and quality than its Newport Chinese food competitor.

I had tried a combination plate place once before and found the food to be pretty good. I decided to bring home dinner from here this past Saturday night. I walked in and ordered a few entrees and a bunch of appetizers without calling ahead. The price was extremely reasonable and my food was packaged and ready to go in under 10 minutes. When I got home, I found everything had been carefully packed and was still nice and hot. The whole family was quite happy with how good the food was. I may have just found a new go-to Chinese place!

This was my last time for ming china food. The quality has always been spotty......hit and miss.....but now it is more consistently poor! My last meal there was General chows chicken with their hunan wings....I am almost convinced that the generals chicken was re heated left overs!!! it was way over cooked and overly chewy....and it appeared to have several layers of coating or breading on it....all evidence of reused food! The hunan wings were extremely oily and wayyy too salty..so salty i couldnt finish them and it burned my throat....no more mings for me!!! I also get newvous ordering food from people that appear to have contempt for you....

Good basic food cooked fresh and you can view the preparation. The Take-Out food is well packaged. Special requests such as extra spicy, are happily accepted.

My wife and I went in this evening. It's a small place with seating for a limited fee. My wife ordered from D4 Lo Mein with shrimp, pork fried rice, and an egg roll from the dinner combination menu. I ordered D22 General Tso's Chicken, pork fried rice and crab rangoon. My wife said the Lo Mein was bland, but the egg roll was good We both felt the rice was okay. The General Tso's Chicken was over cooked and dried in some pieces. There was too much sauce the rice was soaked with it. The Crab Rangoon filling was good, but the tops were overcooked and dry. We both agree that we probably won't go there again.

We have ordered out from Ming China many times. Over the years the flavors have changed a bit but nothing too drastic. We enjoy many of their meals and they have never messed up on our orders, yet. Overall they have good food and prices for a small town shop.

Ming is low-key. Like styrofoam plates and cups and plastic cutlery low-key. You pay when you order your food at the counter, and there is a place to put your tip, which is a little weird! [How is it weird? Usually you calculate your tip at the end of the meal (when you usually pay) based on the level of service provided throughout the meal.] Once you get over these things, though, and your food is brought to you, all is forgiven because the food is excellent. The place is clean, and the staff is friendly. It's pretty inexpensive, too, for what you get. A good choice for anyone looking for Chinese food.

The food is tasty and the little place is clean. But there is only about seating for eight so plan on take out.

Food is very fresh and very tasty. Everyone that's works for Ming China is very friendly and helpful. There is not much seating in the restaurant but it is the best place around to get take out from!
