Yesterday I was a witness to the hostess and the owner’s verbal abuse to a pregnant woman and the people she was with. I was sick at the behavior from the owner and hostess, we turned around and left. Later we ran into the group at Cheese Louise they were smiling and happy! I found out that One of them was getting married and the people that was so rude to her knew that. We will NEVER step foot in 27 NORTH again. There are so many great restaurants in the area, no need to waste your time.

Went there yesterday for breakfast and were seated at the bar. Unfortunately, the bartender was extremely rude from the moment we sat down. Her attitude throughout our visit was unwelcoming and unnecessary—we hadn’t done anything to warrant that kind of treatment. It really put a damper on our experience. Please consider reminding staff about the importance of basic kindness and professionalism.

The food here is pretty good and the drinks are good! Unfortunately the staff is absolutely horrendous and so rude. We made A reservation two hours in advance for 14 people to which they said they could absolutely accommodate us. To our displeasure when we arrived, the hostess who was extremely rude the second we arrived for no reason lied straight to our face and told us that the head of our party called and switched the reservation to 10 people which again, was an absolute blatant lie, and they refused to seat us. Then when the party arrived (which was a wedding party) the extremely rude hostess separated our party and carelessly said some of us could sit at the bar while the rest of the party got seated all the way on the opposite end of the restaurant.
The bartender was extremely unpleasant when the bride went to notify her that there were STILL not enough chairs at the table that they said could seat 12 (they put 10 chairs there). She immediately gave the bride attitude saying “well what do you want me to do?!” In an extremely hostile tone of voice. The bride tried explaining that they needed two more chairs because there were only 10 seats at the table for 12! The bartender continued to argue saying that we had more than 14 people in our party if we needed more chairs and would not even let the bride get a word in to explain that they only had 10 seats at the table they told us could seat 12.
At that point the bride was extremely upset on her wedding day and had enough so she told the bartender they would be leaving. On the party’s way out the bartender and hostess began clapping as we left, which was extremely unprofessional and rude, and the bartender went to shake the groom’s hand and tell him good luck for marrying the bride in a very rude way.
unfortunately for our waiter who was extremely kind and professional, he lost out on a huge tip because of his immature coworkers who did not want to do their job. We feel horrible for a waiter who deserved nothing but the best in this situation and hope that he gets all the tips in the future!!
We have also heard they can be combative about reviews so we are expecting them to respond poorly to this rather than fixing their poor behavior.

We called ahead to make a reservation for a party of 14, and when we arrived, the table was only set for 10. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, the hostess and manager were dismissive and tried to insist we hadn’t reserved for 14, even though we clearly had. It felt incredibly unprofessional and frankly, gaslighting.
I genuinely feel bad for our server — he was kind, attentive, and clearly doing his best under difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, because of how poorly the situation was handled by the front of house and management, our group decided to leave.
Between 14 guests, with breakfast and drinks, we easily would have spent $1,200–$1,500, and the waiter lost out on what would have been a $250–$300 tip. The restaurant’s team cost themselves both a major sale and a loyal group of customers due to a few rude and unaccountable staff members.

I can't imagine anyone giving this place a bad review. Every experience I've had(there have been many!) has been wonderful, from the staff, to food, decor and overall atmosphere. Not 1 complaint, I'm actually quite surprised to read some! I look forward to our next visit.
My fiancée and I were looking for a last minute breakfast spot after checking out of our hotel in North Conway and she found 27 North. couldn’t have picked a better spot! The food was amazing, our waitress Ashley was fantastic (as was the rest of the staff we encountered), and the vibe there is just so cozy and relaxed. Already told them it was the best breakfast we’ve had up here to date, and we will 100% be back!

27 North was an excellent breakfast experience from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly, while the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. I truly don’t understand the negative reviews calling ahead was quick and easy, and I had no issues at all. I’ll gladly return here the next time I’m in the area and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot.
