I had wanted to experience the 1759 Grille as a friend had suggested it. From the outside on a Sunny October day the place looks lovely, plenty of parking. Inside it has the feeling of an event venue with a bar that has pretty views totally ruined by the shear number of tv's within it's space. Every booth has it's own tv, with several more really large ones mounted high near the ceiling. It's like a sports bar with up scale prices and food that is way below...
Recently went there to celebrate a friend's birthday, the atmosphere was pretty cool. Beautiful building, nice views of the course. I loved the TV's and the feel of the dinning area. The food was on par for the area, it didn't blow my socks off by any means. Service is were the struggle was, granted there was a large wedding going on, the service was extremely slow and the wait staff just didn't seem to care. For a group of 6 people, we were there for 2.5 hrs...
We decided to to this place for my a Celebratory Dinner for my Mother's retirement and it didn't disappoint! Staff was friendly and attentive, food was great and reasonably priced and service was prompt. Atmosphere is beautiful as well. We will be back for sure at some point!
