The server was obviously upset that she had to put her cell phone down and wait on a customer! What I ordered: Mocha latte with half the syrup, what I got was a coffee with chocolate syrup. A lot of syrup on the ottom of the cup. Could not remember the muffin I ordered seconds earlier. Not a good experience. But the server did get right back to her phone quickly!

Quaint little coffee shop inside of a fabulous bookstore which I look forward to perusing after my coffee and world's greatest sugar donut. For those looking for a coffee shop to sit and get a few hours of work done, probably not the most ideal for that, but by no means impacts the overall desirability. Lovely service from the ladies as well.

One of my favorite places to drop in. Love the food, always fresh and yummy! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I love running into all the friendly people who frequent the cafe.
Rather dirty and they serve a double espresso in a huge mug with the added arrogance for a screen prompt to ask for a 22% tip. Enough said.

Seriously good breakfast burrito. If you’re a light eater this is a two person option. For me this left me feeling like I actually ate something.
The inside cafe feels cramped but there’s outside seating in warm weather. Personally I would remove a table or two (inside) and create a feeling of more open space. Realistically do people actually want to sit that close to each other in a cluttered space?

Very disappointed at the service at Aesop. While waiting for my takeout order an older woman came in and asked to use the restroom - she was told by the man behind the counter that it was only for customers she replied she was going to order as soon as her husband came in from parking the car. She asked again if she can use the restroom he said she would have to order so she can use the code printed on her receipt to get into the restroom. So she agreed to order she looked at the menu but seemed was a little taken aback with his response. She told him she would just sit and wait for her husband to come in. Now if the man behind the counter would just for one moment of thought and said let me be a good human and let this older woman just use the restroom it would not of hurt anyone. I was so shocked at this interaction it left such a bad taste for Aesop café. With everything going on in the world was it really necessary to be such a guard against the a woman needing to use the bathroom. I bet you would of gotten a bigger tip in your tacky jar tip. (Her husband came in 30seconds later I would of told him lets get out of this place) Do better Aesop.
