A wonderfuly dense little sweets shop. The treats are beautiful and tasty in equal measure. I got the orange sherbet and it was wonderfully flavorful. I was passing through when I decided to stop for a treat and it was a decision I'll be repeating whenever I can find an excuse to do it again.
Ava Marie's the only chocolate shop I buy from now. And the ice cream is first rate, with many flavors. I have one complaint however. The chocolate pecan turtles have shrunken the proportion of chocolate and pecans to caramel dramatically, They look like the turtles have withdrawn their heads and legs into their shell! I'd much rather pay more and have those wonderful chocolatey nutty turtles back!
Even in winter - amazing ice cream is appreciated. Nice variety of flavors - even gluten free (thank you!). Lovely staff with warm greetings and a gorgeous variety of specialty chocolates. Worth the trip for the savvy sweet tooth
