This review will become 5 stars when they use fresh eggs and cook them anywhere but in a microwave. Everything else is delicious but their eggs make the sandwiches almost inedible.

This was our first visit to the Bagel Mill and the food was delicious. The staff was kind and attentive.

Had about a whole 1” thick layer of cream cheese on my bagel…. And it’s the only food item I ordered. Absolutely a terrible experience and will not be coming back. Whoever put the cream cheese spread on I’m sure eats a thick layer of cream cheese like that everyday because no normal person would say that’s good enough to hand out. Terrible.

Absolute slowest service ever by the three slowest girls ive ever seen. 45 min for two bagels. Pathetic.

The service is usually pretty fast here in general. You order and pay, then seat yourself or screw. Its nice sitting next to a wood stove in the winter when its snowing and cold out. In the dining room, two of the four walls have nice windows for awesome natural light and a nice view, winter or summer, both are awesome. I love the garlic bagels, blueberry, onion, poppy seed, maple, chocolate chip, pretty much all of them are really good! I always get mine made into a giant bagel sandwich with chicken salad and bacon. Oh Yea baby!

Stopped at the Bagel Mill today. My breakfast sandwich was filled with bacon crumbs and the egg looked like it had been reheated in a microwave multiple times. BUT the biggest complaint we had was not one person smiled. Very unfriendly service.
Nice little place, nice staff, incredibly Long wait, it appeared only 1 preparing food, other 2 not doing much, food was good nicely done. So if you have time worth a try.

Ordered an Americano and felt its somewhat weak. Medium quality roasting. My chocolate croissant has virtually no chocolate in it. Probably wouldnt stop back in.

I’m sorry to have to add my own negative review of Bagel Mill. I’ve been going there for years. I was looking up the phone number and read a number of bad reviews but went anyway. I pre-ordered a dozen chocolate chip bagels and got home to discover half of them were made with whole wheat dough and half with the normal white dough. My mother brought them back and the manager made excuses and denied it was whole wheat dough. (I know the smell of whole wheat and it WAS whole wheat dough!) The manager was unwilling to do anything to remedy the situation. I will not be going back there. They had their opportunity to provide good customer service and they didn’t do it.
Amazing bagels, great service but they are absolutely insane with what they charge. You would think the everyone bagels were made with gold. They would be 5 stars if it wasn't for their ludicrous cost. 2/5
Bagel Mill bakes their own bagels and uses high quality ingredients. There is live music on the weekdays!
Hubby & I stopped by & loved our bagels hot pastrami Sammie at this inviting store! Warm/cute/clean shop, sparkling clean restrooms, super friendly & helpful staff. Grabbed a bag of bagels to go. What a find! We’re already plotting our next visit- wish we lived closer. Lucky Peterborough!
Dislikes: 1.coffee. Iced coffee only comes in one size and honestly isn’t worth it for $6! Not enough ice in the iced mocha for the hot espresso and it was over chocolates. Ended up purchasing a plain iced coffee so I could blend my mocha with proper amounts of ice and coffee so $10 total. 2. The temperature inside was oddly cold 3. Overpriced day old bagels. $7 for a bag of leftovers is very odd. What I did like: The food was very good. Plenty of cream cheese on my egg bagel. Nice balance of sausage egg and cheese on my spinach one. The service was also great! Young and kinda shy staff makes it wholesome and easy to talk to. PLEASE TIP THEM folks!
