We've been to Bantam Grill a number of times. Last time was about a year & a half ago.l had the Caesar salad. It was good, but could use a bit more dressing. Richard had the Haddock app. It was good but we remember it was more chunks than filets. It still was good though. Sharon had the Onion soup which was excellent. I had the Short rib,it was a bit fatty, but still very good. The creamy potatoes & root veggies are great. Richard had the Chicken, which is a dish Bantam is noted for. This was a bit of a lot down. The potatoes & root veggies are excellent. You used to get a half Chicken. Now it's just grilled Chicken breast. This used to be a dish we loved. Not any more. Prices are very reasonable, but I'm willing to pay for better quality.

Atmosphere is amazing. Service is great too. Food is incredible, not overly expensive for good portions of very upscale food. HIGHLY recommend, you’re probably going to need a reservation though!

This is the third time I have been to Bantam Grill and each time was better than the last. Amazing eclectic food, warm atmosphere , great beverage list and crowded for a Sunday night in the summer! My out of town guest from California was impressed. This is my go to place for great, fun dining in Peterborough. Thanks for the great food and service!

The Bantam Grill offers an extraordinary dining experience with its upscale menu featuring bold, unforgettable flavors. They even have a gluten free menu!! During our visit, we were treated to a delightful array of dishes that left a lasting impression. We began with the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer, a brilliant twist on a classic. The cauliflower was perfectly crisp, with a spicy buffalo sauce that packed a punch without overwhelming the palate. It was a flavorful and satisfying start to our meal. For the main course, the Brie Prosciutto Burger stood out as a masterpiece. The combination of creamy brie and savory prosciutto atop a juicy, perfectly cooked burger was a revelation. Each bite was a harmonious blend of rich and savory notes, making it a standout dish that is not to be missed. I think my favorite was the potato wedges that were perfectly crispy. Nailed it!The French Onion Soup was another highlight, offering a deep, robust flavor with caramelized onions and a rich broth topped with a perfectly melted layer of cheese. It was the ideal comfort food, executed with finesse. To round off our meal, we indulged in the Blackberry Crème Brûlée. The dessert was a perfect balance of creamy custard and tart blackberry, with a beautifully caramelized sugar crust that added a delightful crunch. It was an exquisite ending to an exceptional dining experience. The Bantam Grill excels in creating dishes that are both sophisticated and packed with flavor. The attentive service and elegant ambiance further enhance the overall experience, making it a top choice for anyone seeking a memorable meal. Highly recommended!

The Bantam Grill is hands down one of the best (if not the best) restaurant that I’ve been to in New Hampshire! This cozy, unassuming Italian/American eatery feels like the perfect combination of upscale restaurant and local pub, with extremely polite and friendly waitstaff, as well as a bartender who should be working in NYC at an upscale cocktail lounge, because the two drinks that we had were unlike anything my palette had ever tasted before. The buffalo cauliflower appetizer almost had me fooled it was a vegetable, and the house-made raviolis melted in my mouth so well I swore I was in Italy. I will definitely be recommending the Bantam Grill to anyone looking for food in the Southern NH area, never mind Petersborough, this place is worth the TRIP!

It was suggested that we try this restaurant by the staff at Pearl Oyster Bar next door because they had no tables. I'm gluten free so was a little disappointed that the menu had nothing marked as GF. Although when I checked out their website upon returning home, they do list items as GF. In any case, I ordered the grilled ribeye which was very tasty, accompanied by whipped potatoes, broccoli and crispy onion straws. Hubby had the short ribs with whipped potatoes and roasted root veges. The parsnips were a little under cooked but the rest was delicious. He enjoyed the pineapple custard for dessert. Atmosphere was good, a nice crowd for a Wednesday.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my daughter and an old friend. The ribeye was perfect. My daughter loved her shrimp dish. Dessert was wonderful. Jenn our server was fabulous. As a staff member at another Peterborough restaurant, I was so happy to see Bantam busy and successful and continuing to be a source of pride for the Monadnock area. Way to go!

I ordered the bantam burger and it was gone before I could even think to grab my phone. Paired with a Woodford rye old fashioned and the company of friends, I don't think any of us managed to get a food pic we were so enthralled with the smells coming from our plates we had to just dig in! I can't wait to go back, there's easily a handful more options on the menu I need to try. My boyfriend had the other burger (I forgetthe name but it had pineapple, which he's not a fan of, but paired with soprasata he loved it!). Our friend had the same pineapple burger (no pineapple.. no sense of adventure!) And the raviolis which smelled fantastic!

Really let down, I've been before and had a good meal, so I took a friend from out of town. The Bantam and Pearl have a strange practice of reserving bar seats. That is the main reason I generally don't go(I dine out most nights). There were 4 empty seats at the bar but we had to sit at a table. I ordered the chicken and bacon carbonara, It was more like a broth based soup dish than carbonara. My friend ordered the shrimp piccata. It was acceptable. We finished with dessert, apple crisp. It was lukewarm, not even warm enough to melt the ice cream scoop on top, but the mini skillet it was served in was hot.
