This is absolutely a local place. The food and service is good. There is a a lot of choices on their menu. Inside is very outdated and that did take me by surprise walking in. Our waitress had an interesting personality and was very friendly, she was always checking in on us and she was always available. One of us tried their prime rib and it was very good, and so was their hamburger special that we had which was dedicated to a local that sadly had passed, and a certain amount...
Hubby and I ordered the haddock plate and a salmon caesar salad. It was outstanding.
However the front end staff were very unwelcoming. A specific gentleman didn't like the idea of a couple sitting in the main dining room with there infant so he put him in a private room by themselves and told another front end staff he didn't want to listen to a baby. Food was good but not good enough to witness such a disgusting act of selfishness.

The food, service, and drinks have ALWAYS been top notch.
We've never had a sub par experience once in the years we’ve been going here.
