We were in town for a couple of days and stumbled across this place. Perfect for all your favorites including fish and chips, mac and cheese, and a really solid shepherd’s pie. Wait staff were super great and they even had a robust kid’s menu. My picky 8yo said “These are the best chicken strips I’ve ever had!” 😂

Love this place! Great food and an insane amount of whiskey and bourbon to try! You can even do a flight! Super nice staff too! It feels like you're in a pub in Ireland! Totally check them out!

French Fries were woefully undercooked; they’d run out of Fish & Chips, Cole slaw and Lamb dishes by 5:15pm on Saturday. Sadly the rest of the food was very pedestrian. Wait staff was nice but over worked

This is our favorite pub of any place we’ve been and our first pick when we visit Peterborough. I meant to take a photo of my delicious fish & chips but I ate it upon arrival! The fish was perfectly flaky and tastee and the batter was light and crunchy. The chips were their homemade potato chips…the best ever. And I shouldn’t neglect mentioning the service which is wonderful. As usual the selection of Irish whiskey…

I unfortunately had a bad experience with both bartenders the two times that I’ve been to this establishment. The first time I sat down at the bar and asked the bartender if they had white wine. She said yes and is the “such and such wine okay?” And said the name of a wine. I said “sure” thinking it would be a moderately priced glass of wine. When I get the bill the glass was over $20. Upon seeing this, I looked at the menu and saw there were plenty of other options she could have offered me. She clearly did this to “upsell” and probably didn’t care because I’m not a regular. Last week I decided to give it another try. This time I sat at the bar again, different bartender,, and ordered an Absolute and soda. She said double tall? And I said sure thinking that’s just a regular drink? Well I order 2 and get my bill and it’s $33 for TWO absolute and sodas. Since this happened twice here and never at any other establishment, I’m assuming the manager is training them to do this which is a shame.

Well, being that I am of Irish descent I was very excited to try this pub. Walking in the door we were immediately greeted and led to our table. Unfortunately, it was directly in front of a live band. I am not against music but when it's being played within 5ft of you it becomes increasingly hard to hear the company you came with. Don't get me wrong the music was as Irish as you get and it was great just way too loud for me. Waited quite a bit to be greeted by our waitress, she placed some water down introduced herself then was gone again. 10-15 minutes later she came for our drink orders at this point we were ready to order our food. Once again she was gone not asking if we wanted an appetizer or if we were ready to order. Almost a total of a half hour before ordering our appetizer and our main course went by. The whole time the music blared in our ears. Finally, when our food arrived it looked amazing, but there was just no flavor to the food except for truffle oil. If you decide to eat here I suggest eating outside and asking for salt and pepper you will need it.

My husband and I shared our "once a year date night " and 3 yr anniversary dinner here for the first time. I have been in the service industry going on 11 yrs , and absolutely loved the atmosphere, service and vibe of this establishment. We enjoyed it so much i decided to go home, fill out an application, with a real desire to be apart of this establishment. Currently in training and excited to be apart of this team. If a mom of 3 and business owner, can come out once a year and want to actually work here after ONE meal, I promise this is a place you want to frequent.
This place has changed . We were regulars every weekend for lunch for the past 2.5yrs. Last time we went in at noon (7 weeks ago)and were told we had to order 'brunch' only and the lunch menu started at 1pm. I didn't want brunch but we ordered some food and decided next time we would come out later for lunch. Today we arrived at 1pm ready to order our favs for lunch and indeed there was a lunch menu as well as brunch menu. We went to order our usual favorites and we're told while they are on the menu they are now no longer available on the weekends while brunch is still going until 4pm. Reading the menu yes it does say they are not available sat/sunday but my response is write a menu specific to those 2 days without showing what you might serve on another day but not today. Very frustrating experience. 7 people while we were there ordered the same menu items we wanted and were also told "no you can't have that while brunch is on". It was one of our favorite places but we will not be returning antlyrime soon. Our server was very nice.At least the drive out their was beautiful!

Stopped here while traveling for work and sat at the bar on a Tuesday. Had the coppershill salad which was great, super fresh. Then had the shepherds pie and a Guinness. Shepherd's pie was a healthy portion and flavorful. They have an incredible whiskey selection with very fair prices too.

We found this place because it was only restaurant open till 9pm during the week. The cheese fries app was delicious!! The kids loved it. We ordered sandwiches both were huge and delicious. Ruben and chicken salad served with choice of side. Kids meals were chicken fingers and Mac and cheese. Drinks/food/app came to $86
