Parking was easy. The entrance can be confusing. We entered from the side door. No one greeted us so we went to the front to order our food and chose to dine in. They were out of a few items. We had to ask for water several times by walking to the counter but they were always friendly and bought us water.
The atmosphere was simple and the restaurant was very clean. The food was ok. I ordered the beef stew and liked my meal but my friends ordered the pork kabobs and they said it was very dry.
The owners were very friendly but the service wasn’t what I would like. They didn’t check on us during our meal only at the end and we had to go to the counter when we wanted anything and to ask to pay our check.
I was disappointed with my experience and unfortunately I would not return.

Food has been a mixed bag. One time, eating in, everything was delicious. Another time, for takeout, the chicken was tough and the pork belly over-seasoned to the point of being inedible by the two people who tried it. In the latter case I called to give them the feedback, left a voicemail, and never heard back.

Delicious and friendly service!
Have to admit food is good. Although….not once… multiple times… waited almost two hours for meals. Beyond BS! How do you run a business? Could’ve drove to Boston and back before receiving our meals. Won’t be back. Ashamed. Could be a really awesome place. Maybe they need new management? No it was not busy either time.

Fabulous five star experience last Friday night during the Night Market! A couple of great friends suggested that we get dinner at Domingos Puerto Rican Cuisine when we were Peterborough and I'm so glad they did. They had already been and told me that everything was made from scratch to order, so I knew we were there for the experience, it wasn't going to be fast food, but it was promised to be worth the wait. The night market was well attended and Domingos was slammed. The owners let us know it would be a while before they could get out such a big order, and since we were enjoying the atmosphere on the patio we assured them that we were not in a hurry. We tried the Empanadas, Pinchos, Carne Fritas and Chicharron, everything was absolutely delicious! (That night and the leftovers!) The owners were so friendly and happy to serve me my first variety of authentic Puerto Rican food that it made the experience even better. I'll be making another trip as soon as I can to Domingos. Thanks folks for a five star Friday night.

First time trying this restaurant. I was so excited that there was a Puerto Rican restaurant in my near vicinity and I couldn’t wait as they had closed down a few weeks ago for renovations I believe. Today I could not wait any longer and decided to give a go, oh and by the way I’m Puerto Rican myself so I know exactly how it’s supposed to look and or taste depending on the cook. I ordered a bistec encebollado “ steak with onions “ with the rice and beans “separate “ not yellow rice with the beans in it. The portions are extremely small was my first impression and the steak has absolutely no seasoning whatsoever. To top it off if was tough. Next I ordered the same steak with a mofongo “ mashed green plantains with garlic and pork belly” no pork belly and they didn’t even use real garlic they used “Jarlic” a definite no no in mofongo! I also got the alcapurias that were insanely delicious no complaints there. Also bought 2 beef empanadas and 2 pizza empanadas. Pizza not so good and beef were ok. The white rice cooked perfectly just wish it wasn’t a spoonful and a half’s worth of it and the beans had a great consistency but lacked flavor. Overall I’m pretty disappointed with the taste of the food but, I got to say the young man who took my order was very nice and polite and tried to be helpful with the menu and what was available. Amount paid was almost 70$ with tip and the only thing I’ll ever go back for is the alcapurias. Back to Lawrence, MA for great authentic Puerto Rican food.
The owner talks to you and gets to know you. Not many restaurants like that. The food is excellent and has great flavor not hot and spicy but a rich taste of spices that are incredible to taste. It's my first time to have Puerto Rican food will be trying everything on the menu. Go try it you will love it.

The short review is - you need to try this place. Just go. Now.
We passed by Domingos a few times on Sundays when it was closed, but finally made it there on a Saturday for lunch. This is truly a family-run restaurant. Talking to one of the owners, he learned to cook at his grandfather's knee, and with his mom. The recipes are family recipes handed down.
The place is in a funky old building, and it's easy to miss because the sign isn't very clear. Look for signs for the Thai place, which are splattered on every side of the same building. Downtown Peterborough isn't a big place, you'll find it. There is an entrance under the timber frame-covered patio, and one at the other end of the building down a long, weird hallway. Follow the signs.
The interior is bright and cheery, with a bar and a dozen or so tables, including some nice high-tops for two up against the big windows. I don't believe they serve alcohol, though they are currently advertising for a bartender, so that may be coming in the future.
I'm not Puerto Rican, and don't have much experience with PR food, but I have eaten a LOT of central american food, and there are parallels. But none of that really matters. What matters is Domingos serves delicious food, beautifully presented, in a friendly atmosphere. I don't care who you are or where you come from, that's gold.
We ordered the mixed platter of fried appetizers and the pork mofongo to share, and sat at a picnic table outside. The food took a while since it's made to order, but it was worth the wait. If you didn't know the appetizers were fried, you wouldn't know they were fried, if you know what I mean. It's extremely rare to find fried food that is cooked as perfectly as these morsels, not oily at all. Best Tostones I've ever had! Big enough you had to break them in half to dip them in the mojo, which was loaded with fresh garlic (yay!). The other appetizers were similarly delicious.
The mofongo was a treat, with big cubes of pork that were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The plantains were a wonderful counterpoint. Chunky, full of flavor and a nice not too soft texture.
If you're still hungry after all that, there are some authentic desserts on the menu or you can get an ice cream (Hershey's - wish they had something more local) and a Puerto Rican coffee.
We can't wait to go back.
