Favorite brewery.
My wife and I used to be regulars here before we moved so now it’s a hike for us to get up there and I’m injured so it’s even harder. Always great staff and amazing beer. One of the best breweries in the state. It’s in my top 5 and probably one of the most under rated ones.
The beer is great. Personal is awesome. The vibe is really good.
Then why the 3 star review? Well, they have a truck that seems to specialize in burnt pizza. Please replace it with something your level
Post & Beam Brewing in Peterborough, NH for a flight & a pint after a hike to the top of Mount Monadnock. It had been over two years since I had been here last, but enjoyed all the beers previously so it was nice to have a excuse to come back. Downtown Peterborough, NH isn't huge, but it's a great spot to check out for sure. My previous visit here, I had opted for mostly IPAs, but this time I went the more traditional route & got some different styles that were available. The fall season brings with it a lot more lighter offerings & darker beers, which are without a doubt some of my favorites. 🍻
The flight I scooped consisted of four different styles. I started off with the BUTCHER HOLLER Farmhouse Ale - Grisette, which isn't my favorite style by any means, but this was delicious. Then I moved onto THE LOYAL WE Lager & BLOODSHOT MOON Sour which were both good. The last beer in my flight was the ULI DUNKEL Munich Dunkel which was excellent. My favorite of the trip was the pint of the THE UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF PILSNER Czech I got that was really crisp & super drinkable. 🍻🔥
Outside the brewery on your way in you'll see some cannon ball's (which I of course had to stroke since I'm 40 with the sense of humor of Eric Cartman) & depending on the schedule, a food truck. The building itself is reminiscent of old New England architecture with the taproom being super inviting, reminding me of my grandparents old dining room & kitchen when I was a wee lad. Great, super friendly staff who definitely led to the friendly environment inside. I heard they're opening a second location Post & Beam Brewing South, which is great to hear with the quality of beer they're making. 🍻🍻🔥☘🍁

First time here my wife and I. Greatly enjoyed our beers and experience; going to bring our friends next time, which will be soon.
Great beer, friendly folks! We're only in the area once a year but we always stop here for a cold one!
I love the post and beam. The vibe is like a sparce, clean, woody hiltop living room.
Favorite beer: our town. But everything is great. Scant effort is put in food. But it is still just fine. Buffalo dip is my fav. Artichoke dip is also fab. Steve’s pretzels with a spurt of mustard warmed are a fine addition to the beer. But hey! The best is trivia if you are lucky enough to be on a team with people all smarter than you.
Go here and you will be one step closer to being a towny.
Amazing beer and amazing atmosphere. Just what was needed in a relaxing Saturday afternoon.
Beers are excellent, and staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Go on the first Sunday morning of the month for AMAZING wood-fired breakfast sandwiches and beer to start your day!
Favorite place around. Beautiful location, delicious food, beer brewed in house & friendly staff. 🙏💗

Had my celebratory birthday drink here and was not disappointed. My partner tried a stout, Snug Life, and I kept to my trusted standby (a sour), Jelly Bones. Having never been in before we were impressed by the quality and atmosphere. Next time we pass through Peterborough we will stop in again, and maybe even try a wood fired pizza.
Good beer good vibes
Atmosphere was great. Very good diversity of flavor for your palette. Owner/ operator is an absolute gem to talk to. This place is a diamond in the rough, give it a try.
Fantastic beers and comfy taproom. Highly recommend the Uli Dunkel and Sunshine & Sorrow ?
