I love coming here especially when Deklin is working. Deklin is one of the hardest working young people I’ve seen in a while. He always makes sure I’ve got everything I need and he is very kind and considerate.

Twelve Pine could be a much more popular place for lunch, but it's not. The food is delicious, the restaurant is cozy, and the ladies working there are generally friendly and provide good service.

However, talk to anyone in this town as to why they don't go there more often and it's always the same answer - the man (presumably the owner) treats the employees horribly and the coldness of his personality permeates the atmosphere of the store when he is there. He berates the employees over the littlest things and seems to have a general dislike for people. I've never seen an owner of a local shop ever seem so annoyed to have customers in his store. We stop in less and less frequently because what should be an enjoyably lunch is always overshadowed by the negative energy permeating the store because of the owner's attitude and behavior.

Hopefully one day this place will get new ownership and become the warm, joyful lunch spot it has the potential to be.

A wonderful place, The best blueberry scone I have ever had, and a Dirty Chai Latte (2 shots of espresso) that was so good I got a 2nd for the ride home.
Everything looked amazing, the entrees in the case looked delicious and the presentation was top notch!
I had to leave before the pastry case got the better of me... Worth the trip!!!

Their hours are very unpredictable. I don't know why they seem to be the only place in the plaza that can't maintain proper staffing levels, especially considering the prices.

Also, someone needs to do serious cleanup in the beer section. Most of the IPAs there are so old it should be a crime to sell them (and most of the beers are IPAs). I mentioned it to one of the employees months ago but nothing was done.

I should do something other than complain! I like their chai and coffee, and the desserts are great. I haven't had sandwiches there in quite a while, but when I did they were very tasty.

Stopped in for a drink, and what you would expect in a touristy spot where the staff is "over" the tourist trade. Clean, and food looked good but did not partake. No warm fuzzies here.

It’s a nice place but the town has better options although this is probably the shiny trinket you’ll end up at.

I waited in line for 5-10 minutes for a coffee since the deli was busy for lunch. The owner apologized for the long wait and gave me a coffee on the house. This wasn’t necessary at all but it was extremely generous and I felt it would be nice to share my experience. I can’t speak for the food but the people are A+!!!

The food is very good. But the service is adamantly, irretrievably, almost purposefully slow. I can hear my beard growing, so long is the checkout - it’s staggeringly slow - if you’re planning a birthday there, get there a week ahead, and you *might* get to pay by your special day. I keep coming back because the food *is* quite good, but LORD, have I mentioned how s-l-o-w the service is?

We stopped in for lunch. My chicken wrap was very good, My wife ordered a tuna melt. It was stopped to include tomato, bacon and cheese, in addition to the tuna. But there was no bacon. Nor was there any cheese. Who makes a melt without cheese? And oh, the tomato was missing, too. That part was okay. But no cheese?
